Thankew! I am determined to make some progress this month too. with the disgusting sticky hot weather in NJ I don't bother to do my hair with the blow-dryer and hot rollers, I just slick it back into a twist...so I have *extra* time to exercise in the AM.

marbleflys 07-19-2005 12:22 PM

Tuesday---33 mins. of wts.. abs & rebounder aerobics. it is so HOT in NJ, its disgustingly sticky.

I got up at 4:30 this morning like a little ole lady.
Just woke up and started thinking and couldn't get back to sleep.

So I got up and did a 60 minute 4 mile WATP video :cp:

Last week's total exercise hours: 2 hours and 53 mins.

Saturday and Sunday: Heavy-duty cleaning and moving furniture (construction starts tomorrow)!

Monday: 25 mins. of interval training (me and Gilad)!
Cathy,
I saw Leslie Sansone's WATP, walk/job DVD at Wallymart for 10.00.....is this a good one? Since you are Leslie's younger counter-part, do you think I could fit this routine to my mini-tramp? (I HATE the rebounder DVDs that came with the thing) thanks for the info.

cathyxxx 07-25-2005 11:23 AM

Marble - congrats on all the exercise!!!!! :cp:

I love both of her new videos - Walk & Jog and Walk & Kick

Are you asking if you could do the Walk & Jog on your mini tramp? I've never tried a mini tramp - I guess you could do the walking and jogging on it??? but she does do side steps and stuff - don't know if those mini trampolines are wide enough for that - surely you could adapt the moves tho.

Or if you are asking about doing the video along with your other exercise - I would think it would be good for you. The Walk & Jog is much faster than her other stuff - it is 2.5 miles in 30 minutes.

I think you can watch a portion of both of these videos at www.collagevideo.com

Let me know if you get any of them and try them. I really like mine!

hugs,
cathy

yeah, I would just do a different side move on the tramp. when she does hers....

maybe I'll try it!

cathyxxx 07-26-2005 10:12 AM

Marbles - definitely let me know if you try it! I will be curious to know how you like the video. I'm wondering - as hard as you work out - if it will be enough of a workout for you - but really it is the most fast paced thing she does.

Also - you mentioned I was her "younger" counter part. hehe I'm not sure about that - I don't know what her age is but I will be 46 in September. I kind of think she is younger than that - but of course - she looks great so I just can't tell.

But thanks for the compliment anyway. I have gotten to where I like to be called "younger" ;)

Ok - I did a 30 minute 2 mile WATP video this morning

July Miles = 22.5

hugs,
cathy

Yesterday, I tried to stick with my routine, but it's a bit difficult with them ripping down walls and ceilings....I gave up at 20 mins. and switched to housework.....I attempted to powerwash the outside walls/windows, but gave up, it's the humidity not the heat.
