Flower I loved hearing about your plantings also!! shame about the Assn. being so hard-nosed about what you can and can't plant though. And yeah buying all those annuals plus the containers plus the soil gets pricey so very quickly. We are so psyched that the 2 varieties of petunias that husband started from seed, "Magic Carpet" and "Burpees Best". The "best" ones are ruffled!! like fully doubled ruffled! and the Magic Carpet has an outstanding growth habit, they trail a bit but each leaf cluster is like a little rose cluster! I just love them all The poppies..I don't know what kind they are. They are not Oriental ones, I do recognize those. They are alot smaller and shorter but still red, with black centers. Very delicate looking petals, and leaves that are sharply ridgedy. Have found a bunch of pansies that self-seeded, with little flower faces and my zinnias are doing well! LOVE love summer growing.

We finally bit the bullet and decided to lease a car, first time leasing for us. Got a 2018 Subaru Impreza, we didnt get a color choice but red is okay I guess. I am happy for AWD for winter, and just having something brand new is wonderful and feels great. Yeah I rode my m'cycle to work for almost 3 weeks straight, 6 days/week! and only 2 days were pretty rainy.
Been getting lots of comps on my desserts at work!! I am finally a little more at ease with the new chef, he is pretty chill and I think he respects me. Today's offerings were - a chocolate crumb bar for lunch desserts, and for dinner dessert, a New York style cheesecake with a rhubarb-raspberry compote. I walked down the road 1/4 mile this morning at work, to pick the rhubarb, about 7 pounds of it!

Congrats on the new car, Holly. Leasing sounds like a good idea due to the salt effect on your cars. Red cars are sharp.
Sasha's grumpy. She smacked me yesterday. She smacked Lily this morning. She smacked Hank this afternoon.
I think she's getting ready to have these babies in the next week or so.

sorry I have been an absent community member. I think that summer weather has made me forget online activities. I have gained 3 lbs that I am NOT comfortable with. my lower mind and higher mind seem to have different agendas. Lower mind wanting to eat more foods that are not good for me in any way.
I will do personals later today. Saturday's are never a weight loss day. Because it's shopping day. Costco etc. i need to change my eating habits. "Need" and "want". Are two very different things. Looking for a low cal non animal based protein source for lunch. I want to go the vegan route for lunch.

Holly your garden sounds glorious. I love the descriptions of the flowers. I used to plant double petunias. And the pansys with great faces. I think I know the red poppies you described. Many decades ago I think a neighbor had some. They were single poppies. Not California or Icelandic. Not oriental. Seems Thur may be just poppies? The first poppies? Congratulations on your new car. I like red. There's a lot to be said for leading a car in VT. No worries about corrosion.

Sasha is just grumpy cause she's heavily pregnant. She just smacked Hank again and he's her litter mate. She just doesn't want anyone to get close to her.
I adore my bed. It's a really nice mattress. It's a brand new pillow top mattress. I make payments on it every month but worth every penny.
Lisa, I am glad the bed is really comfy. It’s important to be able to sleep well.
I like cake too. I wish I had that cheesecake now.
I went to an event tonight and my ticket included food (desserts) but guess what there was no food. I met some nice people though at the end and we had dinner together. I don’t want to publicly complain on the eventvpage but I am planning to privately message to request a refund.

I'm sitting here watching sashies babies moving. Her stomach shows babies kicking and moving around. You can see them so clearly. She is having trouble getting comfortable too. Her tum tum is so cute.
I am so excited to start working out. My first day will be on July 3rd as that is when my 1st payment will be made. I'm going to get 1 outfit to begin with. I'll just wash it out after every workout. I'll need a bathing suit too.

I am sleeping a lot better and feel more rested. I got a new cpap mask and that always helps me sleep more soundly.
I'll begin working out on the third of july. That is when my payment will be pulled out of my checking acct. I'm quite excited.
Still no babies. She is uncomfortable when she tries to sleep. She tosses and turns. She is going to have have several babies. She broke our pact. I have told her several times, she can have 2 babies.
