Hi all, how's everyone doing?
Buddly - you hanging in there, chickie??
Hope - I'm around
Cathy - that sounds awesome - I've never been to Hawaii, but a friend who went LOVED it!!
Amarie - I HATE the laundromat. We were in our first owned home before we had a washing machine - oooh, you know, that's not true... I had a twin tub when I first got married, and hung EVERYTHING all over the house to dry!! I am having a long-term love affair with my washer and dryer, so I feel your pain. You know, one of the major benefits of losing a lot of weight is that almost everything goes in the dryer now... and so many of my clothes I used to have to hang up in case they shrunk even a little!
Leenie - what's happening in your world, hon? Oh, there you are!
Sassy - oooh, Miss Congeniality... I have that on DVD and haven't watched it in AGES - I think I'll put it in to run to this week!! hahaha
Okay all - nothing of interest here, just hanging out and chillin' dudes
Chat soon -
Heather

Little rough, getting better
So the week started a little rough with Dad going in and out of the hospital Monday, remaining sick yesterday, but he's feeling better today. PT and I fought, broke-up, got back together, broke-up, got back together... Sometimes I really hate relationships. I barely ate anything yesterday because I was so upset over all the miscellaneous things that had happened Monday and yesterday. I feel a little better today, but am now being plagued by my monthly annoyance... I could probably stay in bed all day, but I'm up, moving around... hoping I can get my butt moving a little more and do a workout...

Morning!
Kim - Relationships can be very hard. I'm sorry you had a lousy couple days. Here's to a better week from here on out!
Cathy - OMG! I am now officially jealous. I LOVE Lahaina. One of the best things about Hawaii (IMHO) is that the time difference means I would wake up crazy early, and there is nothing more peaceful than early morning walks in Lahaina. You can watch the crazy people learning to surf, and wander undisturbed watching the town wake up. Sigh. Oh, and there's a nice little coffee shop tucked down in the bottom floor of the Warf Cinema Center (sorta like the town center) and a place on the top floor called the Crazy Cat Cafe (or something like that) that makes THE BEST grilled Ono sandwich with tropical salsa (local white fish). If you and your sis have time, try to check out the Twin Falls hike up past Pa'ia. It is really beautiful - like a window on the divine. You can stand under the waterfall, and it feels like showering off all the negative stuff that ever happened to you. OK, I'll stop... I'm sure your sis knows all this. You will have a blast! Promise to tell us the highlights?
Heather - Yeah, this laundry thing is horrid. It took so long that I had to forgo my walk. Ugh. And the 'mat I went to has full front of windows, and after it got dark outside I did not like being in there - I don't live in the best neighborhood... You're right about the intentional shrinking... I threw a couple hang-dry items in last night hoping they would fit again!
Leenie - No personals is just fine by me - I just like to see your posts! Have a great day!
I was thinking about the movie topic... I'd have to say my favorite ever is Pride and Predjudice (I'm a sucker for Jane Austen). After that, maybe the dance movie Center Stage. I don't watch a lot of movies anymore... what with school and work. Sigh.

Sorry I'm MIA. I'm sick with a sinus-infection or flu or something. I'm achy and feverish and coughing. Yuck!
I'll be back when I feel a little better.

Vacation is almost over, which is a little depressing, but I have been SO BORED! Funny how that works. Vacation flies, work drags, I know I'm going to be happy for the first couple days being back at work, and then praying that the weekend hurries up and arrives. I'm rambling...

Hola Girlareenos!!! lol
Hola Girls.
Well this week has gone FAST for me anyways. Of course my week is only 3 nights, but that is 3 long nights. lol. I was soooooooo sleepy yesterday morning I think I fell straight asleep as soon my head hit the pillow!!! Then DH & I didn't get up until 7:30!!! Ah well it is our night off.........
I made Banana Bread. I had some bananas that were overly ripe so I wanted to use those up. Well I just took it out of the oven and wanted to put it on a plate to cool..............I dumped it out and all the "insides" of the bread fell out leaving a perfect "shell" in the pan. I just laughed and said, "well DH doesn't like crust anyways." So I show DH and then he says, "but I like the crust on banana bread." UGH men. lol. So I just scraped it out and layed it on top boy oh boy this is definitely no winner in the "pretty breads" competition.
Ah well, you win some, you lose some. lol. DH said he'd still eat it anyways. Who cares what it looks like?? Not like I am taking it to a party or something. lol. I just made it for DH and to get rid of the overly ripe bananas. That is love isn't it? When your DH will eat something that looks like a 2 yr old made, that is love. lol.
Anywho....
Amarie: Yes My shift is definitely not for everybody, that is for sure!!! lol. There are times where I even question it. lol. The only good thing is I get my week done is only 3 nights and then I have 4 nights off!!! I am glad that the interview to the other school went well. Aaaah the almighty Laundry Mat..........I used to have to do that when we lived in Upstate NY. I have a really funny Laundry Mat "Story" one night dh & I were asleep and had the bedroom window open when we heard what sounded like a cat fight. Well right after we figured out it was not a cat fight but a SKUNK and whatever else fight!!! So I quick got up and closed the window but it was way too late. The whole entire apartment smelled like a skunk!!! Well the next day I had to take EVERYTHING that was able to be washed and bag it up and take it ALL to the laundry mat -- ALONE. Because DH had to go to work. So I opened ALL the windows while I took everything to the laundry mat. I went very early so I had most of the place to myself, which was good since I had to use most of it to wash EVERYTHING!!! It took me about 2 or maybe 3 hrs to do everything which I admit is not much for doing EVERYTHING in our apt. (including pillows, comforters, sheets, EVERYTHING!!!) Also Febreeze was my best friend, I febreezed EVERYTHING!!! lol. I hope you are feeling not quite as "foul" today (Friday) after all, it is Friday.
Cathy: Yes DH, my in-laws and I all love Paula Deen. I was talking to a co-worker about Savannah, as he is from Atlanta, GA and he said he lived in Savannah for a year and it is an absolutely great place!!! So I am definitely leaning towards that for Vacation. Cathy sounds like a great time with you and your sister. WTG on the 3 miles!!!
Heather -- ooooo A massage.....I am so jealous..........DH gave me a great massage a few weeks ago.......hmmmmm maybe have to have him do that again!!! lol. Yeah that is what I said too when I saw Miss Congeniality on TV too, "I haven't seen that movie in ages!!!" That is how I come up with watching movies most of the time, by seeing what is on tv, then if we have it, going and getting the DVD and watching it. I will let ya know what movie I watch this weekend!!! lol. (IF I get too!!!! lol)
Hi Leenie -- Bye Leenie!! lol
Big Kim!!! I hear ya about vacation flying by and then looking forward to getting back to work until you are there a day or two then looking forward to the weekend again!!! lol.
Hope -- I hope you feel better hon!!!
Well I wish you all well in whatever you are doing today and this weekend. I want to get serious about some cleaning chicks. My DH's "Office" has turned into a "Storage" and it is awful!! I HATE having a room that we cannot use!!! My mil has a really nice and LARGE living room that is in prestine condition because she closes it off and doesn't allow anybody in there!!! That drives me insane!!! We NEVER go in there!!! NEVER!!! What is the point of having a room that you don't use???? A long time ago we USED to have Christmas in there, but now anymore, we NEVER go in there, ever!!! So instead her and fil are crammed in a small little tiny room to watch tv in and if someone comes over, there is no where for them to sit. Anyways, enough of that, geez not even my house!!! lmao But I am tired of looking at that mess in DH's office so I want to tackle it or at least begin to tackle it!!! lol. Wish me luck and if you don't hear from me in a few days, send someone, would ya???
