boy it seems I have a lot more rest days these days. hmmm since i've been going to the gym i've been more tired. Thanks jcat. I know I break a sweat but I don't know if I sweat the entire 30 minutes. I will have to pay more attention tommorrow. Hang in there elvyn; i'm stuck in a scale rut too. Just keep truckin and count those calories. I'm trying eating different foods everyday so it tricks my body instead of eating the same foods everyday. Like one day only eat salads and vegetables and the next eat some meat with veggies mix and 4 meals a day but stay within your calories. The article says doing this doesn't allow your body to adjust or counter act the weight loss and therefore your body uses more fat. It also says when you eat, to never feel full always leave the table feeling just a little bit hungry. We'll see next week if it really makes a difference. Probably just a "Fad."

I know the feelin elyn. I have been doing great exercise wise (although last week was tough I think I Missed 4 days ). But my scale is refusing to budge!!!

Okay Jasmine you are doing excellent!!! I am a little farther behind you than I want to be but next month I am taking you on!!!!! I am hoping to narrow the gap today and tomorrow I am trying to get that scale to budge by Thanksgiving!! Thanksgiving day I plan on getting in 90 minutes of exercise before dinner, then I am going to walk on the tread when we get home for atleast 20 minutes. (I would go for a walk outside but they are calling for yet another storm!) I really want to go swimming once or twice a week, but I hate to leave my husband with the kids since my days off he works. Maybe we can make it a togetherness thing (leave the kids with nana for an hour. We decided that when we get our income tax we are paying for a year membership at our local YMCA! If we pay for a family of 4 we get daycare for an hour and a half a day included (week days only)! DH and I will take turns going in the morning before he leaves for work, but I can also go when he's at work. The biggest problem will be Makenna, she will want to go swimming each time we are there. (The pool opens for general use at 2:30) I may even leave Tommy in the Daycare room so I can take her swimming a couple days a week!!

Elyn my ticker seems to be working; check your link you might have to redo it.

Thanksgiving tommorrow!!! Is everyone excited??? Thank God i'm going to my mom's house so I won't have any left overs here. she doesn't usually go all out either; very simple dinner with salad turkey mashed potatoes and fruit salad. (Of, course, just when you expect it to be simple, she will go all out. LOL) Either way I will do my best to control myself and keep within the calorie intake for the day and still enjoy a delightful dinner.

My fave indulgence is sweet potato pie!!! Love it! But only the homemade kind...the store brought kind is just missing something, you know? I didn't get any pie this year and I missed the Peanuts special so my whole Thanksgiving was just....off.
