Well had a bad eating day yesterday...haven't had one that bad in a long time. That's okay because I am back on track today! I have all my meals planned and already hit the treadmill this morning. I think I will take the dogs for a walk this evening to burn some of those extra calories I ate yesterday.

Yesterday I fell off the wagon a bit, I took my kids to the movies like I planned, but my baby boy (1 yr in 12 days) freaked out as soon as the lights went down. He's been to the movies before, but this just wasn't a good night. He is getting another tooth, so I thought lets get some ice cream and wait for daddy and sister to get out of the movie. Well, I ordered my favorite (I was sad I was missing my movie) a cookie dough blizzard. When I got home to add in the damage I was shocked.....don't get me wrong I new it would be high in cals, but it was over 700 calories!! So my dinner had to make up for the high cal snack so it was just a small salad. My total calories for the day was 1748 which is about where my high calorie days should be so I switched my high cal day From Friday to Tuesday. I really want to be down a total of 20 pounds by my sons birthday Party I have 10 days to lose 4 pounds so I really am kicking it in right now. I am trying to keep my average at 1350 for the next 2 weeks
Todays planning: BF: protein shake and coffee sn: apple LN: egg salad on whole wheat, 12 carrots, small salad sn: 10 pretzels DN: 1 half chicken breast, 1 cup broccolii, 1 cup brown rice sn: small banana Workout today: 50 minutes on stationary bike, 20 minutes on weights and 45 minute walk. |
Had a harder day today... I have stuck to my right amount of calories, and been to the gym, but I am so hungry right now I could so easily blow it!
It's 9.30pm and I am thinking of going to bed just so I can get Wednesday out of the way! Hope everyone else is having a good day wherever you are! |
I'm doing pretty good today. I only had a six inch turkey sub from subway and water. I did 3.25 miles on the treadmill. I'm really enjoying the exercise. I do it every day and it makes me feel like I accomplished something. I feel so good afterwards. I am not giving up this time!

Breakfast = egg whites/cheese/bacon bits/tomatoes Snack = 2 crackers/montery cheese Lunch = 1/2 pita/cheese/chicken slices - deli meat Snack = body for life bar/.5 cup applesauce Dinner = ground turkey/taco seasoning/cheddar cheese/salsa Snack = 4 lemon cookies/hot chocolate Ok - I could have done w/o the lemon cookies - just caved because they were in front of me. Activity - 1 hour hike = straight uphill 1.25 hr roller skating. |
Okay I think all you ladies are doing great! Keep up the good work. Sznn just make sure you are keeping an eye on how much cheese you are intaking. It can add up quickly! Believe me I know! I LOVE cheese! 9 grams of fat per ounce! :( We have changed to skipping it sometimes on tacos or switching to mozarella sometimes, still have it once in a while but sparingly. I did see i read they have cheddar now with an improved taste with 1/3 less fat. i want to look for it at the store tomorrow.
Okay so I got 60 minutes of walking in today. I still feel bad about all the red meat I have had this week due to having to wait til tomorrow to go grocery shopping!!! Arrgghhh!!! BUT I have still looked it up on fitday and been putting the cals and fat in. The round steak and roast are not as fatty as other ones thank goodness! :D Anyhow, my smoothie for breakfast, lunch I actually went ahead and had 4 cups of the buttery popcorn. (Remember the one I accidentally overloaded on sat and had 12 cups of!) Tomorrow I will be buying the 94% fat free one again. I had a big cup of coffee, with creamer, no sugar and a slimfast. At 3:00 i had a yogurt. Dinner was supposed to be 6 oz of round roast and 1 cup of spanish rice and 1 cup of carrots and I was going to eat 1/2 cup of beans like 2 hours before but the kids ate all the beans! So I wound up having 8 oz of roast instead. :( Oh well. My total cals wound up at 1642 so i am still cool. Just need to get that chicken tomorrow! Yeah!!! |
Hi everyone. I haven't checked in since Monday - I haven't even been online since then, it's been so busy around here.
Overall, I'm doing OK - I had a slip yesterday when a friend and I went out for a drink and weren't strong enugh to resist the bar snacks. Such is life. Today's food B - muesli with skim milk and 2 dried apricots, chopped through it Snack - 1 kiwifruit, 1 mandarin L - 2 ham and salad sandwiches on low GI bread, vegie sticks. Snack - vegie sticks D - crepe with chicken, mushroom, cheese, and salad. Exercise - 9,800 steps I had my weigh in today, and I've lost 1.9 KG, or just over 4 pounds since last week! I'm absolutely thrilled by this - I had put on last week after doing everything right, which left me feeling a little down. I'm feeling really motivated now, so here's hoping that I'll lose more. Anyway, talk to you all tomorrow - hope you all have fantastic days Nicole |

Carrot cake! my favorite and I brought the rest to work so I wouldn't look at it at night and I just had a sliver of it! Doh! I have to make sure I eat really good the rest of the day.

Jasmine: Every Sunday night was popcorn night with orange juice at my house for dinner as a child. I don't know why but I still do that. I love the 94% fat free kind. Try putting parmasean cheese on it when it is really hot, this is my favorite. You can also put a chili mix of spices if you like it spicey. Stuck to my eating plan yesterday. Still debating what to have for dinner tonight. Veggie lasagna or boiled shrimp? |
Happy birthday Rose2! I did great eating yesterday and I had a workout that kicked my butt!!!! I can't wait until I get to workout today. I ended up skipping my Strenghth training because my Husband came home late and I needed to shower (a little more important that strength training.) I will add in a session today after pilates. I am probably going to cut my stationary bike time to 20 or 30 minutes so I can get everything in before My boy wakes up from his nap. Anyway todays meal planning is the same as yesterday. I hope everyone does great!

I am loving getting meal ideas from all of you! Been a pretty good day for me. Oatmeal at breakfast, a shrimp and lettuce sandwich for lunch with a snack of a caramel ricecake, and for dinner I just had rosemary chicken in an onion gravy with a jacket potato and green beans. Later on I get my WW carrot cake for my late night treat! I haven't got much exercise in today, as it is raining cats and dogs outside! |
