Smile April Weight Loss Challenge

This is a stressful time. Let's be creative about how we set our goals this month. If setting a numerical weight loss goal will help you, go for it. If not, here are some other ideas:
  • maintain weight
  • eat vegetables
  • pray or meditate
  • exercise (check out our Exercise Challenge thread)
  • check in with 3FC or some other mutual support space
  • practice good sleep routines
  • listen to relaxing music
  • limit news and/or social media consumption
Join the April Weight Loss Challenge to set your goal, track it, and meet it -- with the help of a supportive and encouraging group. All the goals will be compiled into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.

Since I just slipped into Onederland, my goal is to stay below 200.

My scale is in kgs, so I'm looking for numbers that are 90.7 are lower.

Thanks for starting up April's thread gardenerjoy.

I managed to lose a little bit in March instead of gaining. I'd like to continue that momentum and build on it. As an introvert who likes spending a lot of time with just me and my husband, I'm not having a hard time with the quarantine, but /hugs to those who are struggling.

Default Getting out of the diet trap

I have began my weight-loss plan a few weeks back, it pays to remember this: You are not fat. You have fat. Losing weight isn't about blame or shame; it's simply another achievement to accomplish.

Self discipline and persistence to push through indeed plays a big role.

Happy Birthday, JenyReddy! I'm guessing that if you get right back on track, that weight will be gone in a few days.

April goal: Maintain at or below 90.7 kgs

Hey everyone. Well March was a bit of a bummer wasn't it? I'm lucky, my boyfriend has a job and we're pretty much homebodies already so quarantine hasn't affected us too dramatically. It's still crazy everything that's happening, I know a few people who have lost their jobs.

Personally, March was a bit of a blur. I think I was struggling to get adjusted to my meds after switching to taking them at night which was keeping me awake. I had an awful sleep schedule and felt like I never got a good nights sleep. I slowly made the switch to taking them in the morning, and things are looking up. I've been working out every other day with my bf after our gyms closed a few weeks ago. Having him workout with me this consistently has been amazing! I've done 7 Insanity Max 30 workouts so far, just working my way through the calendar and feeling good about it. In the last 3 days I've made it a point to go on a 30 minute walk, I realize that I'm just too stationary with the job I have so I hope that getting out and stretching my legs helps with my weight loss/mentality.

I'm close to feeling ready to start IF again, I've been more conscious of my late night snacking. I'm definitely coming down from a slight sugar addiction since I got into the habit of eating chocolate/drinking a root beer once a day. Now that both have run out I've felt it the most after dinner, like my body is waiting for that sweet treat, so I'm doing my best to ignore it to mild success. Anyway, I'm here to start weighing in and reporting it! I'm not going to set a goal for myself, I just want to ride this wave of exercising and not put any pressure on myself.
