Well it's midweek and the weekend factor is gone. I seem to be about 1lb up on last week, but feeling much better about being on track and diet choices etc.
(Lacerta - I did Strength class with Zac yesterday and MetCon (like HIIT) class with Ryan just now - I know you'll know exactly what kind of dudes they are )

Didn't stay in the 180s long, but it's a sign I'll get there for real soon. I didn't expect to lose anything over the last few days anyway, so seeing it all was a surprise. Today's the last of my super busy time at work.

GardernerJoy: I forgot to put my weight loss goal for April at the start of this thread. I’m aiming to lose 4.5 pounds this time and get to 159.
Have a great day everyone. I’m off on a work trip so I won’t be able to weigh in tomorrow morning. But I’ll certainly be able to stay OP!!
Am I too late to join in? I hope not!! Just in case I am going to put my goals in. Still really new to the forums so forgive me! Massive congrats to everyone in this thread - you all are goddesses!
My goal for April is to lose 8 lbs total. I started weighing 2 days ago and I have to admit I hate the scale lol
April 8 - 195 lbs
April 9 - 194 lbs
April 10 - 192 lbs Water weight coming off - I seriously feel like I am going to float away lol on the other hand, I think I have been majorly dehydrated for quite a long time
I am not doing a good job on focusing on the 2 (not hard) goals I chose for April:
(i) drinking more water; and (ii) chewing more gum
I had a wonderful, WONDERFUL weekend with 11 other girlfriends, in Philadelphia, so I know the scale-damage I witnessed this morning was due to those indulgence(s). Which is fine. But, I really do need to get my head on straight and get back to basics with my fat loss. I am 8 lbs heavier than one year ago and have zero reason to be 8 lbs heavier than one year ago.
So, I don't need to lose the weight FAST, but I do need to come up with a plan and then I need to FOLLOW THE PLAN. I seem to really be "squirrel" right now and cannot follow any plan for any length of time. i poop out by about week 3.
Feeling good today. Finished some meetings at work last night that had taken a bit of organising, so all the stuff I don't want to do this week is done and I've got a good couple of days coming (hopefully), then weekend. Off to see a play at Sydney Opera House tonight, which will be proceeded by food/drinks, so not expecting any more joy with the scales this week!
scarletrunner - great to have you join us here! Ha - you've done alright in the three days since you started weighing, so maybe you can learn to get along with your scales a bit better this month if they keep being nice to you Beeps - yep, 12 girls together sounds dangerous - good to hear you had a fantastic time.

Newlyn; Glad to see you back in the 250s. Hope this is a better week all around for you.
Beeps: Maybe you could put periodic reminders in your phone like appointments to help give you a little kick throughout the day.
scarletrunner and Thinsole: Welcome. It's always the right time to join in.
ange: Ooh, the Sydney Opera House. You know that's on a lot of bucket lists, right? Enjoy that for the rest of us, too.

Total Loss for Week Two:
Ok, I feel like that is a legit 180s number and that I might stay here now. Busy time is over for the month, so I can get back to healthier eating and more walking now. Oh, and I made my goal for the month already, but that's sort of a cheat, because it was really March's goal I just had a do-over on. So gardenerjoy, can I change my goal for the month to 187.0? That would put me at my next big mini-goal of 30% down.
I have to postpone breakfast this morning and go and get fasting blood drawn for my doctor's appointment next week. They don't open until 8, so this morning, I had some time to kill and decided to try some clothes on again. I fit fairly well now into my size 10 jeans and my 1990s Gitano size 16 shorts, so that is nice (down from a too tight 18W). I tried on one of my Large T-shirts and while I could get it on, it was too tight to actually wear yet. So I'm still an XL (down from an XXL) on shirts. Tried on my goal dress, which is a 12 and my swimsuit, which is a 10 and they were both too small on the bust still, by a few inches. /sigh. But I'll get there eventually.
