Total Loss for Week Two:

So I haven't posted for about a week. It has been a rough month for me so far. I started out sick, and then just got totally overwhelmed at work, putting in a lot of overtime, trying to get everything done by this last Friday, because I have Jury Duty this upcoming week, so had to have everything done earlier in the month than usual. As a result, I was getting up super early in the mornings, not getting enough sleep, didn't have enough energy to cook healthy for dinner, and went for the fast options for lunch. I didn't make the best choices this week because I just didn't have the mental or physical energy. Not a valid excuse, but it is what happened. At one point I was up as high as 198.2, but that seems to have been water retention. I do think I gained about a pound of real weight this week though, and where I was losing so slowly before, that set me back to where I was 3 weeks ago. This has also been the first time in a year that I've gone 2 days in a row without weighing in.

So I'm not going to make my goals by the 18th, and probably not my goal for the month, but at least I will be able to say that I'm back on plan. I keep reminding myself that it is a lifelong change, not a short term thing, and one week of bad choices isn't the end of the world (marathon, not a sprint). This week just took it out of me, and when I get super stressed, I tend to get depressed as well, and that makes it hard to stay on track. I'm going to try to take a few days off work either next week or the week after to rest my brain.

This drop is probably a little bit dehydration. Spent yesterday snowboarding on my work trip and we go hard. Lol. It was also windy and snowing, so I'm sure the moisture loss from a day of activity at high elevation was even more than usual. Still was amazing to see the 130s. This morning when I went to put on my bra it seemed gappy, so I pulled out my next smaller size. Fits perfectly. So it's official - the boobs are gone. Lol. Planning on the gym tonight, or maybe a bike ride on the trail. Depends if the weather stays ok.

Can't believe you've got jury duty on top of everything else, Lacerta. Hope you can take some time off for yourself.

Newlyn: I know, right? This is my second time having jury duty. Was on an domestic battery case last time. My number didn't come up for today, but based on what numbers they called today, I'm expecting they will get to me pretty fast. I'm number 101 and they called 1-51 today. So maybe tomorrow.

Snowmama: Congrats on getting into the 130s, even if it is only temporary, it is a boost to know that you are that close.

Well, that was a surprise to see this morning. That is almost back to my low. I was actually lower two days back in February, but I think I was pretty dehydrated that whole week. We'll see if this time, it sticks around, because I'm not dehydrated today. Maybe I can actually move downward again. It was nice to be back on track this weekend and to lose all this bloat.

I think jury duty would be super cool....i will never be called for jury duty due to the profession I chose. Which is also fine.

I am travelling for work this week...the good news is that I won't be Late-Night-Snacking because there is no pantry!

I hope I am down a lb or two when I return on Saturday...I won't be able to weigh until Monday, March 18th, so it will be a MYSTERY this week!

Jury duty this morning so no time for anything, but that was a new low AND it was 2 hours earlier than usual and pre-bathroom. Yay! My first new low in a while.

Jury duty again, I'm actually on the jury. But it was nice to see a 193 number for the first time today. Just one more pound and I can change my avatar again. And just 2 more pounds until I'm overweight.
