I finally got with the program and posted like everyone else on this thread. And I love it because we can better see the whole month's progress
We are rocking our weight loss in December despite the goodies in the office or all the parties. Well done all of us!!
Follena: I think tracking longer term so you can see the drop over time is a HUGE part of helping me stay on track. I even go back and look at old threads to see how I was feeling at the time compared to how I feel now. I really find that it helps me.

Total Loss for Week Four:
Today's really should be a NWI, because I hardly slept last night, had to get up 2 hours early, so weighed in 2 hours early, pre-bathroom. Also, I had to go in to work on my day off yesterday. Intended to work 2 hours, ended up staying for 6. /sigh Anyway, I did weigh in and 208 was what it said, but that's almost useless data. Now I'm off work for today, tomorrow and Tuesday, and the foods my family has for Christmas dinner don't really appeal to me, so avoiding overeating won't be an issue. I'm still hoping to get to at least 205 by the end of the year, but we'll see.
Good luck to everyone heading into the final, and for many, most difficult, week of the year.

Total Loss for Week Four:
I have a touch of a cold and when I'm sick I tend to either eat everything in sight, or nothing at all. Apparently this is one of the nothing at all colds. Yesterday, all I had was 2 slices of peanut butter toast and a bowl of cereal. And water, lots of water. So I'm not surprised to be down today. We'll see if I get to hang on to it after the cold is gone, but it is nice to see for now. I do have to do dinner with the family today, so I'll make sure to wash my hands extra times and not get too close to anybody.
Last night Xmas supper was a little harder than I thought it would be. Everyone drinking wine and eating desert. But I had my turkey and vegetables and drank coffee. This morning a little reward of weight loss on the scale so it was worth it. Today I'm going to a clothing store for Boxing Day sale and this afternoon my son will come to install the tv my sons gave me for xmas. So sweet!

I'm not sure if my increase today is food related or just coming off my cold from the last 2 days. Maybe a bit of both. Mostly I just ate veggies yesterday with a TINY amount of ham (which I don't really like) and a small amount of cheesy scalloped potatoes (also not my favorite), some raspberry jello (I mostly ate the raspberries), and 1 roll (which weren't very good rolls). So it was really easy not to overeat. I LOVE Thanksgiving foods, but Christmas foods, not so much. I had a lot of peanut butter celery sticks before dinner, and some carrots, strawberries, and a slice of orange, and then a lot of broccoli at dinner. So I didn't expect to be up today, but at least I wasn't up much. Hopefully I'll be back down tomorrow. I'd really like to finish the year at least under 205 to put me in range to get to Onederland in January.
Lacerta: when I have a cold ... I want to eat everything in sight. Glad this cold is working in your favor, the other way. Sounds like you're very busy at work on account of all the new tenants. Hope you feel strong and get some good sleeps

Lacerta, I was trying to sound less like the chocolate fiend that I am! I had 20 (yes, 20) Quality Street chocolates yesterday so today I didn't feel even slightly hungry until 4pm, at which point I had apricot and ginger Christmas cake... Later on I'll have some cooked chicken and mixed beans/chickpeas. I'm astonished that I haven't seen a gain, but I also haven't had the usual post-TOM whoosh so I guess it's a hidden gain!
