  • Met my goal of not backsliding on the weekend.

Have fun in London and Paris Slimmerme! I would have a hard time for sure in Paris. I love bread and cheese and pastries.

  • Quote: hi KitKats - great to see you here and well done for making a start with getting that weight off by posting on here. What are your plans to lose it? Is your husband going to help you do you think? Did you lose weight before you got married, or is this a new high weight for you? I know what you mean about feeling uncomfortable. If your weight's on your mind all the time anyway, it might as well be good thoughts because you're on plan and losing rather than bad thoughts that you're not in control!! Good luck - get it nipped in the bud now
    Thank you!! Much appreciated.

My husband doesn’t actually want me to lose weight. My weight did drop before the wedding as I was quite the anxious bird, and I am certainly not at my highest weight but it is enough of a change from my comfort that I am miserable.

My plan will be diet centered as opposed to exercise, as I have very poor bone health. I will brave the scale on Friday of this week (she says, determine to remain accountable). I need to stop the mindless feast eating that is getting to become habitual.
  • Ugh, wrote a post and then the ads made my computer angry. Had to close the window.

Stayed on track over the weekend, despite the siren call of the refrigerator. Bought a food scale, which has been magnificent. I've been underestimating my intake, so it makes sense why I've been failing. I'm literally starving, can't sustain the diet, and then binge. So glad I picked up the scale. 4oz. of chicken is a lot! Also got on the treadmill over the weekend, finally feeling more normal.

KitKats: Welcome to 3FC! Congratulations on your recent marriage, and we all know how you're feeling right now...I hope that you will find what you need here to get your head back into a better place and hit your goals!

ange82much: Enjoy your travels! Sounds like you have a good plan to keep yourself on track.

nicoley73: Great job staying on plan yet again...you're doing awesome this month!

Slimmer me: We'll see you when you get back...have fun!

SnowMama: I feel like the site can be finicky sometimes. A few of us, myself included, tend to write out our posts on a word program off to the side, then copy and paste it over as a reply...just to be on the safe side. And, great job staying on track over the weekend -- getting a food scale is an excellent idea!

Back down to 185.2 today...so, either yesterday's reading was way off or I just whooshed back down? Chalking this up to TOM making things weird, lol. Today is a fasting day, so I'm hoping it will be down a little more tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

No change; still at 185.2 today. Not what I was hoping for after a fasting day, but it's better than a gain! (Especially since I ended up slipping in an extra snack that put me about 150 calories above my fasting range late last night...so, I guess I am lucky to break even.) As always, working on the water as I still haven't really been able to hit my goals there lately. Will do my best on that front today. I hope everyone is having a great afternoon...here's to another on-plan day for us all!

momtopands: I hope you get a whoosh soon!

kfunk: I started my TOM a little early again this month, as well...I feel like that has been the case for the past few months. Hope you get a post-TOM whoosh that helps get you to your goal this month!

    ---------------------------------

Today's weigh-in up to 186.0 is not a surprise...my husband had a random urge to go out as a family last night, and I ended up way over-indulging at dinner. There was an appetizer, meal, and dessert, and I partook of all three (not to an extreme degree, but much more than I have in a long time)...and, we were out later than expected, so I didn't workout either. So, if anything, I'm only a little surprised that my gain wasn't a bit more. Not my best day, but it was a fun splurge night. I will consider that my cheat meal of the week, have a normal, on-plan day today, and be happy that I have a fasting day tomorrow to help make up for it...lol.
