    My usual goal for every month has always been 10 lbs, but I've been struggling to get much past 6 lbs down the past couple of months. So, this time around, I'm going to go with a slightly smaller goal and strive for something in the middle...my goal for April will be to lose 8 lbs! We will see if this will strike a good balance between ambitious and realistic for this slower phase of my weight loss journey.

  • ok, i'm back. This month will be challenging because it involves a 3-week holiday in Europe! I managed 10lb in March which is heaps for me. Will be pleased to be safely in the 50's (Kilograms) by the end of April, and still in a weight-loss mindset. Which means 4lb off should be ok

    EDIT: Nevermind! I just stepped on the scale for the first time in a few days and I'm up two pounds from my last weigh-in. I think this is just water weight bc I ate fast food yesterday. I hope that's all it is, at least! I haven't been weighing regularly the past couple of months, so I hope the prior weigh-in wasn't misleadingly low. Regardless of which weight is more my "true" weight, I'm adjusting my goal to 6 pounds.
  • ange82much - Three weeks in Europe, how wonderful! Have you spoken about your plans in any thread here? I'm a travel nut and would love to read about where you're planning to go!
  • Europe trip not super exciting Chunkahlunkah, the first 10 days will be back home in Yorkshire mainly (i'm from UK originally) and will include Mums 90th birthday! So some family stuff. The next week will be in Valencia Spain to catch up with friends who are there, then a few days lost just in getting there and back, then hoping for a couple of days camping back in Aus locally afterwards before I go back to work.

  • ange82much - Sounds exciting to me. I haven't been to northern England yet, but it looks beautiful! York is a definite on my "next time" list. In England, I've only been to London and I very much want to return! The plan is to pair it with York next time and perhaps one other spot. I'd like to experience the countryside. What a coincidence about Valencia. A friend of mine recently visited for Fallas. I hope you have a great trip and Happy Birthday to your mom!

  • Weigh-in was up a pound to 187.4 today...not exactly how I wanted to start out the month, lol. Hoping it's just bloat! Especially since I know we're supposed to be going to one of my favorite Mexican restautants tomorrow -- Mondays are usually a fast day, but I'm moving that to Tuesday this week -- and, I always have a huge bloat gain after that, just due to the massive amounts of sodium in the dishes. I'll have to prep with lots of water and a lighter eating beforehand and hope that helps mitigate the damage come Tuesday's weigh-in.

  • I am new here and very happy to see a thread like this. I was 154 pounds about 3 weeks ago and then binged a lot and am 168 pounds now. My ideal weight is 147 pounds, at 170 metres tall. This month my goal is to be 10 pounds lighter- 158 pounds. I will post my weight weekly, as I don't have a scales in my house. Thanks all for your support and good luck everyone
