Hi everyone :wave:
All is well here, I just wanted to wish everyone a great new day. How is it going for you all? I am sure we are all busy getting ready for Easter this weekend. 2 days to go until the halfway point of our month. My goal is to drink plenty of water and very strict OP until Easter, enjoy that day (but not overdo it) and then right back to it Monday and have 2 weeks more to finish out the month. Britt, I didn't forget you regarding the fitbit or any of you! This week and next will be a bit hectic with the appts and listing but as soon as things settle a bit I plan to be on board and happily so : ) I hope that you are all well and have a great day! Time to move my tail and looking forward to chatting soon. Should I miss anyone by Easter, have a very happy Easter and wonderful weekend, vaca, etc. |
A quick post for today--still hovering at 151.8. I think I must be about due for another sharp drop. I look and feel really bloated so I'm hoping I'm hanging onto water. I've not been eating perfectly, but definitely enough to lose some weight over the last week, so we'll see.

Britt those NSV's are awesome!! Great job! I also like the idea of making more goals that aren't related to the amount you weigh! It sounds like you are doing amazing! Way to go making it into the 150's :carrot: I hope that you guys have a nice beach date ;) weekend I bet the flowers you picked out will be lovely in the pictures!! Its nice that you already have the house ready so you don't have to stress about it! I have been so busy with work that I haven't had a chance to post in a few days! How did your water cleanse go? I am glad that you have been enjoying your walks!! Your plan for Easter sounds perfect!! I am trying to decide if I want to have a couple glasses of wine. Congrats on getting to a new low princess! Definitely hanging onto water. 152.6 today. Blarrrrgh. That drop better be coming! Still feeling super bloated and also very crabby--but it's not TOM, so who knows. :( Hope everything is going better for you all!!

Princess I always feel yucky when I am retaining fluids but sometimes they just woosh away the next day and I am hoping that with today's new day your feeling better

The fast went well, I broke it the following day at dinner. I had energy and didn't get a headache or anything. I am back to my typical program. The weather has been beautiful past 2 days and we grilled last night (chick. kabobs and peppers and onions) and we m ade a bunch so having that tonight too! I was running errands all day and working on the property so it was an active day. Too nice to be indoors today so I will be doing some outdoor stuff and a few odds and end later indoors. Hope you have a wonderful day and weekend I hope that you all have a great weekend and Happy Easter...ohhh we start our new week today! We still have 2 weeks left to our month, good :) |

My plan is to spend some time out doors and enjoy the beautiful spring weather. So far I'm down 1 more pound since last report, but that is up 1 pound. I'm a little frustrated because I have been strictly on plan. I know it happens and I need to stop daily weigh-ins, but I am curious to see my progress. 🤞 So I am planning to stay positive and keep the plan. 😉 |

Britt I am sorry to hear that you had a couple rough days, I hope things have improved! Also, I hope that you are able to get things moving again, being constipated is awful!
queenbee It is frustrating when you stay on plan and don't see the rewards on the scale, especially when you weigh each day. I think that I am going to take some time off the scale this week, but will probably have a hard time sticking to it. I hope that everyone had a nice weekend! I am very disappointed in myself. Yesterday I binged for the first time in months. Two glasses of wine turned in to, well, I lost count. I woke up drunk this morning. I ate several pieces of cheesecake, I ate dinner rolls. I was out of control. If that wasn't bad enough I made myself throw up after. This was the first time I had a drink since Jan 1st and its apparent now that I do have a binge drinking problem. I am disgusted with myself. |
Well guys, no breakthrough. If anything, a regression. Pretty disappointed, 152.6 today. Haven't lost a single thing for a week and a half and indeed seem to have gained almost a pound (?!). To top it all off, it's the first Monday since New Year's Day I haven't met my goal (should have been 152 today). I kind of want to cry. :( I would just work harder to catch up but we're going on vacation for 10 days starting Thursday and you all know how hard it is to stay on any kind of plan away from home! :(
ETA: I see we posted at the same time, kfunk! I'm sorry, that's a horrible feeling. I hope things get better for you soon (and for Britt and queenbee too!). |

New to the forum, just started Medifast today, so I am IN for a challenge! Maybe a little optimistic, but I am aiming for a 15 lb. loss by the end of May.

I just realized that I never came back for updates on this thread...again, lol. I'm bad about checking in regularly on these seasonally-lengthed challenges. But, I'm here now! I'm about 10 pages behind, though. :lol: So, welcome to all the newcomers and great job & keep it up to everyone who has been checking in all along! :wave: I've lost 12.2 lbs so far in this challenge, as of this morning, so I'm pleased with the progress so far! I'm hoping it continues at this rate and that I will have to update my ticker with a Part Two, but we will see. Hey, Weekend! Great job on picking up your activity! After doing a lot of walking and running on Sunday, I am really itching to get back into exercise as well. I just want to make sure I can go at least a month without binging before I start focusing my attention elsewhere! I can't wait to hit a month! I'm glad you had a good Easter :D
I am currently 10.4 pounds from my goal of 148 by Memorial Day. I seem to be losing about a pound a week (I'm a little over 20 pounds down since November), so I don't know if that will happen in the six weeks we have left, but I would definitely be happy! |

Hi everyone :wave: Always wonderful to come in and read your news. Wanted to wish everyone a great new day. Things are going well here, been super busy but things are coming along nicely. I still have work to do upstairs but nudging away at it and may,may take a break from it a bit today.
It is cool and damp again and we are due for that type of weather for about a week but it should be getting nice after that. Good time to do my tapes really when I can squeeze them in. Still have a few hours worth of raking but it's getting there. I don't want to go near the end of the driveway because a red tailed hawk is nesting down there and they are aggressive when nesting nearby! lol As far as activity goes, that is going very well. Meals planwise could be better since Easter, not too bad but could be better! That's how it starts, an exception here and an exception there! Nailing that in the bud! Everything is cleared out of the house now and onto todays goal......plenty of water, back to the market and planned meals. I looked at the calendar and ladies we still have nearly 6 weeks left to our challenge! :carrot: Britt That is fantastic! :) :carrot: congrats on that wonderful loss and on your activity, it sounds like you really enjoy walking as well! Well, just dropping in to update briefly! I leave tomorrow for a 10-day vacation. Today's reading is 151.2, so I'm on the downward trend again! Whew. Question--should I take the scale with me? Seems like overkill, but 10 days of grandma-cooked meals can do a lot of damage and I really really REALLY want to hit the 150 mark on May 1--then I'll be on goal still 1/3 of the way through the year, which would be awesome and do wonders for my motivation.

Not as bad as packing dumb bells! hahaha :) yes , I did that one year! My DH killed me when we got to cali. and he found out! lol He told all of our friends when we got back and they ribbed me forever! Have a safe trip and great time. |
Hi, Princess! Thanks for the props :) And yes, I would take the scale. I have even purchased a travel one from Amazon for when I am away! If you definitely want to hit 150 by that date, at least it will give you some guidance for making small adjustments here and there over those 10 days. I hope you have a good time with Grandma!

I haven't weighed in since Monday morning and I am going to try to make it all the way until Saturday! I hope that we have good drops this weekend! As always, you are doing an amazing job ophelia!! Your numbers are insane!! weekend Thank you :hug:. I was able to get back to normal on Monday. I felt awful but was able to stay on plan. Wanted to wish everyone a great day and great start to the weekend tomorrow. The week sure flew by. I ended up keeping busy yesterday and went to the market to get my ingredients so I am glad that is off my list for today. I am cooking a big batch of chicken kabobs with colored peppers and onions and will have that for dinner tonight and tomorrow. kfunk Thank you so much for the well wishes and positive vibes :) As for the steps, when I first started wearing the fitbit I think I was hovering around 7k and I just couldn't see how people get 10 let alone 17k lol. The walking racks it up or the tape and well......listing a house for sure! smiling.....you are doing great! WTG for getting right back to it that next day, that isn't always easy to do....wishing you a great day hon and hugs right back that goes out to all, have a wonderful day and hope to catch up to you all soon. |
Just popping in... didn't take the scale, so we'll see how this goes! Eep. :O Yesterday was full of food; we had dinner with an old friend. She's a wonderful hostess and she married another wonderful host, a Chinese man, and the philosophy was the Chinese way--if you say that's enough, we'll put one more scoop on your plate. ;) We did not go hungry! Delicious, but I do hope I don't come home from the trip several pounds heavier...

I've lost the half pound I gained back and I'm starting to walk more as the weather improves. My reg. neighborhood walk is 35-40 minutes and I did it 3 x this week. Tomorrow is our 5M hill walk, and I might hit one of the Spring festivals going on locally. Everyone have a GREAT weekend and enjoy this weather! |
