Tabbycat that's awesome!! Yay!

kfunk6113 04-01-2017 10:54 AM

Weekend YAY, another fitbit buddy!!! I will let you know when I have mine and we can figure it out together!

Thank you!! You are super sweet! How much snow are you guys getting? I hope you guys aren't in danger of losing power or anything like that! Hopefully this will be the last wave of icky weather and the sun will start shining soon!!

I hope that you enjoyed your break and you feel recharged and ready to gear up for another great month!!

Tabbycat Awesome job!!!

I just finished my first full month long challenge for March. Are you ladies doing the April challenge?

Weekend Boater 04-02-2017 07:52 PM

Hi girls

I am so sorry for not getting back the other day. It has been such a whirlwind weekend on a few fronts. My steps have been ah past few days and although I said I was taking a break with the dinner we ended up having a snowstorm all weekend long and I did not go out! I had no idea what to expect but WI this morning and was another .9 down bringing me only one point away from last months goal of a 6.8 loss. Yes, I was happy!

We got about a foot of snow! Needless to say, we woke up to the sunshine today and clear skies with temps of about 50 which felt like heaven!

I hope that you all had a great weekend. I need to work on my steps and activity again tomorrow, it really has made a difference. I am in those size 10's I bought and had on the backburner which really surprised me! A 7 lb. loss and about 27 hours of exercise last month did it! It ahs to be the exercise! It has to be! For the record, I started with a 16 in Nov. So anyways, had a good month and am happy. I don't mean to gloat but my god I worked so hard last month to get off of Feb. plateu and just get things moving again so it was nice to see some reinforcement....not on just the scale front but the NSV's (non scale victories).

Tabbycat congrats on your 5 lb. loss, keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with us.

kfunk thanks :) and yes that sounds great! Congrats on finishing March and all of your accomplishments. Honestly, I feel lazy and that worries me! I only took a few days off but I was busy, even so I am working to make things a new habit and it is important to keep at it so tomorrow I will work to get the steps and exercise in. I am afraid of getting out of habit.

We got quite a bit of snow indeed! It snowed all weekend! The good thing is that this time of year the sun is strong and melts it rather quickly. It was so nice to see the sun today.

I am definitely in and will join you guys in the April challenge, I have yet to post due to a busy weekend but yes...I will be there! I plan to post in the morning over there and state my goals.

Thanks for all being here! Again, I hope that you all ahd a great weekend and I look forward to keeping at it with our journeys and sharing. Have a great night and wishing us all a good new day tomorrow! :)

WebWoman 04-03-2017 09:51 AM

Good morning Troopers!
I haven't been in here as I should, but I continue with the good fight to get healthier! Weekend eating was pretty good (for me) and I even spent some time with my DBF which usually means eating off plan. I've got a crockpot full of vegetable soup with cabbage simmering in the kitchen now, and I plan to eat a bowl of that soup first with most meals. It's really filling and helps because it's very low calories.

I have a Fitbit Alta and really enjoy the encouragement it gives! I've also started a couch to 5K running program which lasts 9 weeks. You can download the app free on your phone and it will time your walking and running for you, which is great. So far I'm just doing it on the treadmill, but when we get some drier days I'll do it outside. i think they want you to do this 3X a week.

Have a great Monday everyone!

Hope to be 173 tomorrow. Hang in there everyone!

brd88 04-03-2017 11:24 AM

Weekend, kfunk, and WebWoman: I think we'd have to exchange numbers or email addresses to be buddies.

I am claiming that today will be a good day. I didn't get to do a real WI yesterday, so I don't know where I am weight-wise, but I am trying not to let that get me anxious. I am going on my first wedding dress appointment next Thursday, and I really hope I will actually enjoy it. I started seriously worrying about my health again in November with the hope that I would meet goal weight by April so I knew it'd be a good experience, but that's obviously not what happened... :( I'm trying to focus all positive energy on staying on plan today. I know I won't be at my goal, but I can at least feel a sense of accomplishment if I stick to it and not binge between now and then.

Princessroja 04-03-2017 11:31 AM

You guys are almost making me want to get a fitbit just so I can join in the fun! :D

In today's news, 154.0. Very happy with that--I knew the 153.something wasn't "real" yet--and since my weekly goalposts are Mondays, and 154 is today's goalpost for the ultimate 52 in 52 goal,, that means I'm officially on track a quarter of the way through the year. To celebrate, I'm wearing jeans out and about today. They have another 2-3 pounds to go until they feel truly comfortable, but they're not bad right now. After several years of wearing stretch yoga pants, I'm ready for jeans! :)

Weekend Boater 04-03-2017 11:51 AM

Hi girls, waving a big hello. I have a cold that kicked in worse today so feeling kind of icky and resting. I will get rid of it. Nice to come in and read your news

webwoman congrats on a good weekend! I have heard so many things about that couch to 5k and a lot of success stories as a result of it. Way to go and wishing you a great new day. Thanks for sharing with us and the inspiration.

Britt "I'm trying to focus all positive energy on staying on plan today" that sounds like a wonderful plan! I am wishing you a good day. Bravo for keeping at it, our goals don't always go as planned due to one reason or another and it can take practice for us and trial and error sometimes, the joys of the journey! lol smiling, your here and your working on it and I think your approach of not letting that hinder you and just focusing on the day is wonderful! Go girl! : ) :carrot:

princess congrats on the loss and wearing your jeans out! :carrot: :) You know, I hadn't worn jeans in years believe it or not and got some bootcut ones, Hope your feeling super wearing those jeans out today..strut those jeans! :) wtg!

kfunk waving, hi...smile, hope all is well and your have an awesome day

and that goes out to all of you here! Wishing you all a happy and successful new day.

Weekend Boater 04-03-2017 11:52 AM

princess regarding joining in the fun, go for it : )

As soon as I am feeling better girls and up and about again I'll do that. Keep rockin' it ladies :)

kfunk6113 04-03-2017 03:58 PM

Weekend Hi!! Glad to hear that the sun is shining again after you got dumped on! That is awesome that you are down another .9!! It is really encouraging to hear how you busted through your plateau; instead of quitting or getting discouraged, you kept working hard and now you are in your size 10's :carrot: I cant wait to be in 10's again!! I hope that you feel better soon!

It is very easy indeed to fall out of a good habit, good job getting back to it!! I am glad that you will be on the April thread too!!

Webwoman yum, vegetable soup sounds really good, I should make some!! I have also heard great things about the
couch to 5k program! Let me know how it goes, that is another thing that I am interested to incorporate in to my routine at some point!! Good luck getting to 173 tomorrow :D

Britt Sounds good, I can PM the info to you guys once I get it!

I love how you started your day, you've got this!! AWWW, have fun at your dress appointment next week, so exciting! Taking one day or even 1 hour at a time is perfect. It all adds up!

Yay on making it to 154 Princess!! Congrats on being on track for the first quarter of the year, enjoy those jeans!!

I hope that everyone is having a great day!

Wow..... Where did the last week just go?

So mum is healed and back at work, which means I have been able to get back on track after many birthdays, lots of cake, a few restaurant dinners, a world buffet :o and some more cake .

Sister's little one is the quietest little boy ever. But then again she has two others to make the noise. Was looking after my brothers little one at the weekend, she is the cutest, she was the youngest before the baby, to which she is memorised by, I think these two cousins will cause havoc in years to come .

Hit a new low this morning at 271.2 after doing gardening for my gran yesterday, hamstrings are soo tight today because of it. But it helped get a good loss over all that cake.

Weekend I need look into those workouts..... I have been doing some standing crunches, and side stretches and twists, but I need to step it up a gear and get some more going on. I found a good youtube workout from HasFit that is only 5 or 10 mins that is rough on the abs  but I will have a look at yours :D Thanks

Feeling really good today! My bloating has gone down significantly and I'm more regular. I am enjoying eating more raw foods. They definitely are making an impact already!
I can't seem to find how to PM (maybe because I am still new?), but if anyone wants to be FB buddies, please PM me and I will send you my email!

Hi Laura!! 1.2 lbs is great!! How do you like Medifast?

Scotsgal Congrats on getting to a new low!! I love that you can still lose and not miss out on special occasions, great job!! I'm glad that your mom is recovered and back to work!

I'm glad that you are feeling good, Britt!! Being bloated is the worst! I will PM you when I get my FB, I ordered it this weekend and it should be here no later than the 10th.

Hi Jessie  Good luck on getting to goal for your vacation!! What part of June are you leaving?

I hope that everyone is having a great day! I am off today and have a huge list of things to get done, it feels overwhelming!!

jessiegreene 04-05-2017 11:40 AM

I leave the 17th of June :-)

Princessroja 04-05-2017 12:05 PM

Welcome, Jessie! Congrats, Scotsgal and Laura (I'm also curious, how do you like Medifast? And yikes Britt, glad that bloating is going away. That's such a nasty feeling. I felt so bloated and huge for three straight weeks last months and it felt sooooo good when it started to come off at last!

My news of today--new low of 152.8. Very happy with that. :) It's kind of frustrating though since I've lost enough weight now that I can see the difference, but not quite enough that I fit into a bunch of my old clothes. And I still have enough belly flab that I feel fat, if that makes sense, but my hips and butt have toned down disproportionately. Anyways, I've got another 5-10 pounds until I really feel comfortable in my old jeans/shirts/bras. The bras especially--my current ones are too loose, but because I waited way too long to buy them as I was gaining weight, I skipped a size. So now I've only got 38Cs and 34Bs (hopefully not TMI!), and there's a looooot of difference between those two sizes. :( I think I may just have to go out and buy a cheap one every few months until I get to goal weight and see where I settle. Bah, I hate bra shopping with a passion.

brd88 04-05-2017 12:35 PM

kfunk, yay! So happy that you decided to buy one! So exciting! I'm sure you'll get through everything that is meant to be done today - don't stress yourself out too much!
Welcome, jessie!
Congrats on the new low, Princess! I am so jealous!!!! I also hate bra shopping. I am currently wearing an ill-fitting bra, because I refuse to shell out the $50-$100 for my own size when I know it will be changing soon.

LauraRVA42011 04-06-2017 05:42 AM

Hey all!

I like Medifast a lot. I know it isn't for everyone, but the simplicity of it is something I need. I've tried so many things in the past few years to no result.

I had lost over 100lbs about 7 years ago using a VCLD accompanied by shots from a medically supervised program but it was very expensive and when I stopped they did not teach me how to maintain since I didn't reach the goal they had set for me. Inevitably I gained it all back.

Medifast is good for me in that I only have to think about one meal for which I am responsible to prepare. I like the foods, I don't have an issue with soy so I don't feel like I'm eating differently from others. The taste is satisfying and even though the meals are tiny, they are very filling.

It is a program that works if you follow it 100%. The cost for me is offset by what I am NOT spending on groceries or eating out. I think it may be more prohibitive in cost for someone who has a family that still needs to be fed regular food.

The partner program they have is called Take Shape For Life and offers more foods than the core Medifast foods called Optavia. They also offer free coach support. If you're a person who likes the idea of a coach and are interested in more natural ingredient based foods then TSFL may be for you.

Happy to answer any specific questions out there.

Weekend Boater 04-06-2017 10:04 AM

Hi ladies  I am feeling much better and it feels good to be in here and read all your news. Hope you are all having a good week and have a great new day!

I am feeling lethargic still but so much better! I have been sedentary the past several days and that bothers me but one more day of rest and than tomorrow I must go for a walk or do the tape and get things in motion again. I am very eager to get back to my usual activity.

I was out of stuff in the house and it was a real challenge with the cold and all. I had some things off plan such as bread and things not on my typical menus but I did good and made a strong effort to avoid caving into cravings or getting fast food. I wasn't up to cooking. Checked my weight and thank god maintained. Now, it's back to my usual schedule. I made it to the market yesterday and am working on getting everything back to order.

jessie :welcome2:

Scotsgal and Princess Congrats on the new lows! :carrot::cheer2::cheer2::congrat: and to all of you on the losses and or sticking with it and working on a new day.

kfunk Thanks! :) It was a challenge this past week but I did ok foodwise although not much activity at all. I am so eager to get back to my usual schedule. I am currently working on getting back to it on all fronts. As for the weather, omg .......rain all week! It's in the 30's but this weekend and into next week it is warming up significantly! It will hit 80 even! Oh yes, I am breaking out the tropical oil and getting some sun. Oh I would love to go for a walk on the beach too! I hope you have a great day too, you will feel better after you tackle your things and boy don't I know it for myself too! lol I have a lot to catch up on here and today is a good day to do the chore and catch up around here and then get to the workouts and other things and hit the outdoors when good weather comes.

Princess It totally makes sense to me! That is how I felt, like once I lost the excess, I could see other things somehow more clearly. I so know what you mean but remember that that is a big step forward. Your starting to see your figure now! You are doing great, keep up the good work, things start getting more sculpted from there as we keep at it. WTG :carrot: As for the bras, I need one too! lol Mine is riding up my back, I need a smaller size and have been meaning to order one. I like vanity fair and order it online although I know shopping for it in the store is best, I loathe it! lol keep up the great work.

Britt Hi : ) that sounds good, I will be jumping on the band wagon soon as I get situated. It sounds like your plan is going well for you, keep up the good work :carrot:

Laura That is great that you have found a plan that works well for you. Thank you for sharing the info with us. It is always great to hear of new plans and learn from them. Congrats on the drop :carrot:

Scotsgal I am glad your mom is okay now and has recovered. Congrats again girl on your new low! That is fantastic! You were able to do that through all the temptations and parties and life events and then right back to it, good for you! :) A lot of people do the u tube, that's great you found one you like. I was doing the side bents and twists too! Which as you know, I must get all back to now! Hope your having a great day hon

and that you all do! I can't believe we are almost done with our first week eitherof the month, 2 more days to go! Thanks for the inspiration and hope we all have a great new day! :) Congrats again to all on the losses, progress, and for sticking at it. Onward we go! :carrot:

webwoman and to everyone else, a big hello! Looking forward to chatting soon. Today I will increase my activity and catch up on some things here. Talk soon

tymaboy 04-06-2017 10:52 AM

Morning everyone. New again to the forum. Need help staying on track and I think this will help me. This last weekend I hit my all time high of 180lbs. I have been struggling to stay on track this week (lost it last nite with a bowl of ice cream) I hopped on scale this morning to check my weight (normally I check at nite before bed) it said 175, Ill check it again tonite. I like to weigh about the same time everytime. Before moving to NC I was 121lbs which was more then my goal was the last time I lost weight. I held at that weight for a while till moving to NC. People think Im nutts when I tell them the foods are different then in IA. My mini goal is to get down to 150lbs. Dont think I can do it by Memorial Day but will be happy with whatever it is at that time as long as I continue to stay on track.

kfunk6113 04-06-2017 10:34 PM

Jessie, Its fun to have something exciting to look forward to, I hope that you have a great time!

princess, congrats on hitting a new low, very exciting :carrot: I am yet another lady that is wearing a bra that is not the right size! You are so close to fitting comfortably into your old clothes, that's awesome!

Thanks Britt, everything turned out fine just like you said! I hope things are going well for you!

Thank you for all the info on Medifast, Laura, I'm glad that you like it and it is working so well for you!! You are doing a fantastic job!!

I am glad that you are feeling better, weekend!! That is awesome that you were able to maintain and resist the convenience of fast food while you weren't feeling up to cooking!! Your weekend forecast sounds amazing!! I would love to see the 80's!! I cant wait until I can grab the sun tan oil and sit out in the hot sun, it sounds so, so good, soak it up!!

Hi tymaboy, welcome  What type of plan has worked the best for you in the past? Glad to have you here, I feel like visiting this site every day has helped me immensely!

I hope that everyone has a great weekend!!

Princessroja 04-07-2017 09:46 AM

Laura, that sounds really interesting! Weekend, I'm glad you're feeling better, and good for you for managing to stick more or less to plan. I had a similar cold this past week and didn't do quite so well, I'm afraid. Britt and kfunk, sorry to hear you guys are having bra issues too, but hey, the reason is good, right?? We will conquer bra shopping, yes! :shakes fist dramatically: :P And welcome, tymaboy! This is definitely a great place for staying on track; I love the support here.

Well, 152 even this morning. Yassss. My body seems to be on a very interesting rhythm for the last few months--for the first week or three, the scale plummets down without rhyme or reason. If I'm eating even close to decently and I'm working out even 20 or 30 minutes a day, it just plummets downward. Then the second two weeks of the month, my hormones go wacky and I just plateau. It's weird. I mean, it's not quite that neat and tidy but it's definitely a pattern.

tymaboy 04-07-2017 03:30 PM

kfunk6113 I found that when I watch my carb and eat a lot of protein I do the best. I dont watch carbs like Atkins or those do but not as many carbs as most people eat. Most people dont like the amount of protein I eat, they think it is very unhealthy cuz I will use the grease from hamburger and bacon but the funny thing is when I eat the way that works for me all my blood levels are always in the good range unlike now.

Princess yay on getting down to 152!! I have a similar pattern with weight loss, the week of my TOM and the week that I ovulate I maintain and then I lose the other 2 weeks.

tymaboy I'm glad that you found the key to keeping your body healthy!! I have made a bunch of small changes the past 4 months, and I think that it helps me that I didn't do them all at once. Right now I am monitoring my calories and do not eat wheat or drink alcohol. I am not sure what my carb count would be, but I do know that the carbs I eat are from healthy foods.

Princessroja 04-08-2017 11:45 AM

Blargh. Discouraged this morning. Not so much because of the scale--152.4, expected since I had a more sugary dinner than normal last night--but because I'm so tired of almost fitting into my jeans and not quite. It's just a few more pounds, but I hate being this close and not getting there! I just want comfy jeans. :( I leave on vacation in a week and a half and I so desperately want to have them be comfortable by then.

Hi ladies  I hope that you are all having a lovely weekend. It feels so good to be in, let me tell you!

My cold is gone, I kicked it quick..don't know if it is the daily vitamins, clean eating or working out but I notice something really changed. With that being said, I did nothing stepwise all week and was upset about it and I am petrified of getting out of habit! So I decided tonight to get my tail in the exercise challenge again, I really hold a hard bargain on myself with these challenges. I need it!

I have no excuse! My cold is gone! Dh and I went out tonight and believe me when I tell you it was much needed. I don't dare weigh myself right now but am very cognizant of any fluctuations and I am thinking to do my annual spring cleanse. Seriously, we have 3 weeks left to this month! We can make it happen!

tymaboy :welcome2: I don't think your nuts at all, the foods can vary so much from city to city, place to place! Welcome aboard and we look forward to having you :)

kfunk AThanks so much! Still crazy and cold here but it is going to be 80 on Tuesday! I invited my mom over to sit and lay out on the deck and tan! lol Did you get your dresser? I hope your having a great weekend.

Princess thank you! OMG I am trying so hard! Dear lord, it takes patience sometimes, lol. As for your low and all it sounds like your working hard to maintain and keep things moving, we work to make ourselves stronger and healthier every day, keep up he good work :) and keep us posted please.

queenbee It is great to have you :welcome2: aboard to our challenge, ours!

Ladies, so much more I want to tell you! Things have been so busy. I am going now to finally sing in to the exercise challenge, it really stressed me but that is a good thing! lol I must must keep up with it. I love to read all your news and I hope we catch up soon. We stil have so much more we can accomplish tomorrow and in our new week so let's stay strong together...
much love and peace and hope to chat soon! :)

Very slow progress, but at least in the right direction. Plus I haven't binged in 7 days and have figured out my just right WOE. I'm hoping it's all downhill from here!
Happy Sunday, ladies!

kfunk6113 04-09-2017 11:21 AM

princess Try not to get too discouraged, there is a good chance they will fit next week! Last week I had a pair of jeans the next size down that I thought were about 5-10 lbs from fitting. I had lost about .5 lbs. since I last tried them on and they actually fit yesterday, they were tight, but not too uncomfortable to wear!

Welcome queenbee!! I have lost a significant amount of weight a couple times prior to now, and being here has made a HUGE difference, I hope you get as much out of it as I have!

Weekend I am glad that you have recovered from your cold, no doubt all those things helped you kick it!! I should join that challenge too, I am just so lazy because I know that if I join I will hold myself accountable and that is why I don't want to join, ugh!!

We went to the store when we got off work, and it had already sold, $95 and it went right away. I was pretty bummed about it, but the dresser we have now is fine and I think there are other things that I would rather spend money on anyways, so it looks like it worked out for the best! Did you have any luck finding a coffee table?

What type of cleanse do you do during the spring? I cant believe we only have 3 weeks left of April, I wish I could slow time down!

Britt 7 days without a binge is amazing!! Keep up the hard work and get through your period, and I bet you will be very happy with what the scale says next Sunday! Are you currently taking measurements?

I hope that everyone is having a fantastic day!! Yesterday was so nice out, we took the kiddos to an Easter egg hunt that the city held and then we BBQ'd with our neighbors and had a fire. It was really nice be outside for the majority of the day! We have a lot to do inside today though and I have about 8 hours of work I brought home with me to do. Happy Sunday to me hahah!

Happy Monday all!

This weekend was beautiful and I was able to do our 5-mile hill walk on Saturday - felt great! Also have been working in the yard - mowing and cleaning up the flower beds, so keeping active and burning more calories. Just down half a pound, but I'll take it. Since it's Monday, I'm going to just eat soup and salad today for a good start on the week.

I've noticed my middle is bigger than it has been in prior years, and I think it's due to hormonal changes since menopause <Booo!> Don't know how to target that area, but I'm sure if I lose overall it will go down as well.

Have a great day, and best wishes to everyone!

Weekend Boater 04-10-2017 11:18 AM

Good morning ladies, hope you all had a great weekend and a good new day and start to our new week!

Britt That really is wonderful! Congrats :carrot::cheer2: Sounds like wonderful progress to me and your doing fantastic, wishing you another great day :carrot: keep up the awesome work.

princess I agree with kfunk, a lot can happen in that time. Mine were far from buttoning and suddenly within a few weeks they fit! I know we are all different, I tend to swell in the face and abdomen with too many carbs. You are doing well, don't let the jeans discourage you, you will get in them! : ) keep at it

kfunk Thanks, so glad that cold is over too...it threw me off, good thing it wasn't a flu or anything. I totally know what you mean about the challenge, I am the same way so I understand your feelings on that.

Sorry the dresser sold although if it ended up working out for the best than that's good. We finally found a coffee table that we agreed on and ordered it online, we had gone shopping to a few places and to no avail but saw this one in a store and ordered something similar. It is getting delivered this Friday and thank god, just in time. We are having the photographers over to take some photo's early the following week. The table is all glass so visually it doesn't take up any space and it will match with any décor, we needed one and will have it for when we move. I am glad that's over with, lol. I am glad you had a nice weekend, the Easter egg hunt and BBQ sound lovely! My parents are coming for easter, I have these plastic eggs and I put money in them and hide them in the house hahahha :) I have them go on a hunt after. They are just too cute to watch! lol Have a great day too hon, always nice chatting. That goes out to all of you.

Laura congrats on a new decade! :carrot::cheer2: Thanks for sharing, the downward trend for us all sounds good! smiling

Webwoman WTG on the 5 mile hike, that sounds fantastic! It sure is a nice change of pace having the milder weather. I will be getting out to do some raking this week on the property. Keep up the great work and don't let your middle discourage you, it can and DOES go down. I noticed mine too at first when I lost some weight but then after with the walking and some tape I do and burning more fat it really starts showing after awhile, yay on the activity! :carrot:

kfunk Last year I did a fruit fast, I have also done juicing (mainly my own green kale recipes and some additional fruit. It is time consuming though preparing it. I was told back then when we eat fruit it is in the form of liquid when hitting our stomach. Anyways, yesterday was not a good day for me ...my face is puffy today, I tend to retain a lot of fluids when I eat certain things. To make a long story short, I am starting a water fast today......I feel my body needs a cleanse and also it will give me a psychological boost. Nothing drastic, maybe 2 days, but one day at a time. I like to get to my usual schedule after, for me it works well to be on a schedule and have my typical eating times and it really helps keep my furnace going but right now, I need to flush out. I will let you know how it goes.

A big hi to everyone and anyone I missed

Hoping you all have a great day! New day to our week and I hope it's a good day for us all. Mom is coming over tomorrow, it is going to be a gorgeous day! Low tide is in the evening and if I am up to it, I may go to the beach for a longggggg walk! I better run, I will keep you posted, chat soon : )

YAY on getting to the next decade, laura, very good week!!

I'm glad that the weather cooperated and you were able to get your 5 mile walk in, webwoman!! Right now the area I hate the most is my arms, maybe we will get lucky and the fat will reduce from the places we want, first ;)

weekend, I am glad that you were able to find a table that you guys liked! Do you have a lot to do before the pictures next week? I love your Easter egg hunt for your parents, that is too cute!!

I hope that your water cleanse goes well! I might do that as well from time to time. I have done the master cleanse three times in the past, but your cleanses seem healthier than mine. How long did you do the fruit cleanses for? I hope that you have a good Monday!! Man, I was tired this morning, I didn't want to get out of bed at all.

Ladies, I hope that everyone has a good day!~!

Thanks, kfunk and Weekend!
I haven't begun measuring, but there is a definite difference. My clothes are starting to feel loser and I was able to almost completely zip up another skirt I couldn't zip up past the halfway mark a few weeks ago. My engagement ring, which was almost the perfect size back in November, is now spinning around my finger constantly. I will definitely need to get it resized. I'm starting to feel like I should make non-scale goals, too! All the clothes I've held onto over the years with the hopes that I could eventually wear them would make an awesome new wardrobe at goal weight!

Today is going very well. I had a cup of coffee to relieve my pre-period constipation because it was becoming unbearable, so I was not 100% raw today. I am committing to at least 90% raw throughout the year, so today will just fall into that 10%. I am feeling cleaned out, energetic, and much less bloated! I don't know where this period of mine is, but I am ready for it to come so it can be over with. I don't want to have to do another day of coffee. I am hopeful that my next WI will land me in the 150s.
I am trying to solely focus on food and fixing binging behaviors, but I do have a lot of energy and am craving a bit of exercise. I may go for a walk after work since it's so beautiful outside.

Hi ladies

kfunk Thank you, no not too much to do before the pics next week I guess. We did most of the other stuff. The coffee table was the last thing left and a few odds and ends to move. I bought some hydrangeas the other day at the market (pink and blue), I love them! They are pretty for Easter, will be nice for the pics and then can go in the ground. Oh the Easter egg hunt for mom and dad is so much fun! :) Tonight after the walk I poked into Walgreens and bought some more eggs...all shades of pink for her and blues for dad and then I found a larger golden egg which will be the bonus egg! I want to go back and get one more so they each have one.

Last time I did it for one week but half way through I had a salad one evening when DH came to visit me and we went out to dinner, I ended up going home with him early, lol, and continued at home. I hope you felt better after and get a good nights sleep. Have a great night.

jessie Oh that sounds interesting! A Viking festival, oh you so remind me of when I was on vacation with DH last time. I was drinking the Rum punches and he said I looked like a pirate! lol I felt that way this morning too Jessie but a good new day will have you feeling much better. I hope you had a good night and tomorrow is a fresh start! I tend to gain fluids very easily, it will come off..hang in there.

Britt I am so glad you had a good day , congrats :carrot: Your plans and goals sound fantastic. What a day indeed! It was beautiful here too, did you go for your walk? Dh and I went for a bit after work and I also focused on getting back to my activity and steps. I find the walks just so stimulating! Have a great night and enjoy the beautiful evening.

Hi to everyone I missed and to you all. May we all wake up to a good new day tomorrow.

As for me, so far so good here! Beautiful day and turned out to be a good one, not over yet though! I did my chores first and then next in order was getting lathered in oil, which was great on my skin, and a 45 min. stint in the sun for Vitamin D and that gave me a mental lift!

DH and I went for a walk in the nearby quaint town and on the boardwalk along the river. That was nice! He just cooked out on the grill and I am here in my room with the doors closed during his dinner hahaha . I don't even like steak but love the smell of it cooking on the grill nevertheless. I will work to sip on my water all night.

After this, my menu will consist mostly of grilled foods and it will be a nice change of pace, looking forward to it but more on that later.

WIshing you all a good night ladies and a successful and happy new day for us all tomorrow.

Thanks, Weekend! I did go, and it was amazing! I don't want to make any hard commitments to anything until my eating is taken care of, but I definitely will enjoy more walking! That boardwalk date sounds like an absolute dream! My fiance mentioned that we should have a beach date this weekend, and I am SO looking forward to that!

I am happy to report that I am finally 4 pounds down! I know I usually only weigh once a week but I really wanted to witness my drop out of the 160s, which I figured would happen today. I haven't been in the 150s since 2015! So happy! I still have a long way to go to get to the challenge goal, but I am hoping once my period is over (fingers crossed that is starts today!) that I will get another decent drop at my next WI.

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone! Sounds like things are going really well for you all. Finally a new low this morning of 151.8, after a frustrating few days of bouncing around wildly. Hopefully I can use the next few days well so I can fit into those jeans! Still not sure if I'll make it by the trip... hmph. We'll see.

Thanks for all the welcomes and words of encouragement. 1 week down and looking forward to week 2.

My biggest issue is I get so busy and don't check in on the boards. I will resolve to check in to gain strength from all of you and to offer support and encouragement whenever I can.
There are so many positive words here and wonderful inspiring moment. Thank you all.

Goal= -20 pounds
Progress= -3 pounds

Read all your news and that is fantastic! Congratulations on the losses, new lows, and progress! :) WTG :cheer2::cheer2::cheer::cheer::congrat:
