I skipped several days because I sensed that I was about to turn it around and I didn't want a discouraging scale number to halt my progress. It worked! This time...that's always a risky strategy for me. So, back at it.

I'm back after a 4.5 month hiatus due to a lot of mental health problems. I had gained about 15 pounds back but over the last 3 weeks I dropped almost 12 pounds after having my tonsils removed. I want to maintain that momentum so now that I'm mostly able to eat solids again I've decided it's a great time to get back on track with eating healthier.
I'm mentally preparing myself for the fact that I may put weight back on in the next coupe days because of dehydration and I'm just now adjusting to solids again. But things should even out over the next week. Also it might be TOM time too. Not sure anymore because everything is haywire after I had an IUD placed in November. Hello everyone; today is Friday weigh-in day.
Jacqui D, flower1, Tuca125, and gardenerjoy, thank you very much for the words of encouragement all month long! I don't know what's going on - I am dieting but I am not starving myself. I am working like a farm animal so that's probably it. Also I am accustomed to having unusually large water losses when I first start a diet (I started in December). Jacqui I missed you!!! I'm feeling way better. I'm not eating solid foods without much issue anymore. Hopefully by the start of next week things should be back to normal.
I went wedding dress shopping today. It was actually fun and enjoyable but now I'm completely drained. Nothing really stood out to me but it was nice to finally feel like a bride.
