Jumping in late... I have gained so much, and need to start all over!

Joining late but it has been a rough couple of months. I lost my dad just before Christmas and trying to focus on my goals was not even possible for a little bit there. He is very missed but I am so happy that he was able to live such a full and amazing life. I know that he would want me to be able to do the same and the only way that will be possible is if I make my health a top priority.
My goal for January is 10 pounds...I have already lost 5 since the beginning of the month but still have 5 to go to meet that goal. Good luck everyone, I hope you are having a great start to 2016! |

Today I am struggling with being sick again...all this crazy weather, hot then cold then hot then cold, it is not a nice start to 2016 but not going to let that get me down. Lots of chicken broth and water, hopefully it won't last very long but not going to let it take me off track. Raining I know just how you feel...hopefully we will be over it and feeling awesome soon! Hang in there Volatis It looks like it was just a fluke and you are back on track today. Sorry PrairieQueen but keep positive I am sure you will see the numbers going down on the scale soon! I love this thread...everyone is so supportive and encouraging it is really helpful when making a life change like this. :) I hope you are all having a wonderful day! |

Sick yesterday...ugh. Main source of calories for the day was broth for my sore throat...feeling better today and getting ready to work out. Weigh in day is Saturday and hoping for some good news. Today I will eat better, I don't want my lack of calories yesterday to end up making my body hang on to those pounds for energy.

I made my goal for the month. It was some kind of huge water loss because I have been helping out on my father-in-law's horse farm. I will try to maintain this loss through the end of the month.
