I had a much better day yesterday. I'm slowly getting back in the groove with eating and exercise. Did a 15 min walk yesterday and stayed in control of my eating. I will start weighing again on Monday.

1st week going well, I'm cutting way back on my favorite carb, BREAD. Cleaned a bunch of celery and carrots to use with some homemade Farmers Cheese, makes the raw veggies go down easier. I walked by a lady handing out pizza samples at grocery store this morning, I put my imaginary blind folders on...it worked. Now I just have to get gooey cheesy pizza out of my mind.

Weighing myself for the first time in many months at the beginning of this week was really disheartening as the scales have gone up so much. That said, my high of 167 may have not been quite "real", but a result of an indulgent week of Christmas vacation. Hence the quick fall this week... I'll be interested to see if the same exercise/food plan is as productive next week!

1/5 - 186.1 1/11 - 184.8 Goal Weight 180. Well, it's a small drop, but I'll take it! We stayed home almost all weekend due to bitter cold and the fact that we had been running every weekend since Thanksgiving. I had absolutely no alcohol. I'm in a challenge with a girlfriend not to drink the month of January to see how that affects our weight loss. Good to see the losses! On to week two! |
Looks like a good drop to me, Boating! Ditching the alcohol may do nothing for weight loss, but you'll feel better.

Okay so week one weigh-in. I have lost 3 lb!
Starting Weight 192 lb 10/01/2015 189 lb I am weighing weekly because I think weighing daily might be a bit depressing. I am only going to count whole pounds lost though. I can't be doing with all those decimal points. ;) |
