Yay it's June and a brand new thread. I am feeling really motivated to stay on track and finally take control of these indulgent weekends I have been having. Best of luck on your goals everyone!
I am still in for 10 lbs this month...hopefully I will actually see it this time!

Hi,
I'm new here, but would love to join the June challenge! I'm sitting on 84kg currently, so my goal for June is to hit 79kg

GW - 164.9

Did pretty good at the family dinner yesterday. My mother-in-law made a huge fruit and veggie tray to go with the baked chicken. This morning I am trying to plan a week of dinners that the whole family will eat and will be healthy.

Hope everyone sticks to their guns today and stays on track! There's a lot of hard work ahead of us, but we can do it!!! Happy June 1!

Happy Monday Chicks.

boatingmommy ~ Great job with the family dinner. Those can be difficult as calories are a crap shoot. Good luck with the planning the dinners. That is just one area I can not stick with. I am a bit OCD with many things but planning what I eat, nope...just can't do it. Any tips?

NNS ~ I'm sending good vibes your way. I'm sure 177 is well within your reach. Good luck.

Ambience ~ to our lovely group.

Noggs ~ You hit the nail on the head with me as well. Weekends are the killer of all the great work I do throughout the week. We will just have to be more mindful ..eh? Surely, we can find a way to batten down the hatches. Perhaps it is all the extra time?

hepzibah ~ Glad to have you here.

berryblondeboys ~ Nice to see yet another familiar face. Glad your back.

Aclai4067 ~ Welcome to the challenge thread. I hear you on those losses being easier when we were younger. In my twenties, it didn't take much and the pounds seemed to just fall off. I guess we just have to work a little harder now, but its all worth it.

seemyfeet ~ Sending some your way. You CAN do this!!!

MrsT15 ~ on the upcoming wedding. I know how stressful this time can be. I'm also in the process of planning a wedding, though we aren't getting married until March 2016. I understand. We will be here to support you every step of the way. Good luck with your goals.

Jacqui ~ Okay Miss, we all want to know the secret of your success. You freakin killed it last month. I just watched as those numbers decreased and I was like DANG. You rocked it. Inspiring. Thank you so much for being such a positive force and motivator for me.

Whew...lots of personals to get to. But as it is part of my goal this month, I am checking in today before work. Managed to get some walking in this morning but couldn't go outside. We have had sooo much rain in the past month though it was much needed. My flowers were starting to look a bit dry even with watering. But, I decided yesterday after not hitting my goal for May that I had in fact still hit 30 pounds lost, so I went and spent a little money on me. I bought new pair of running shoes and some clothes for vacation. Feeling pretty good as the month begins. My head is on straight again and I'm just going to channel my inner Jacqui and get this S&*t done this month. Alright, I gotta get off here and go make some money. Sure hope you guys have an excellent day and keep those smiles intact.

Hi everyone! I am back on the site after about a year, and unfortunately I gained about 20 pounds during that time. I am done with college for the summer, so no more excuses to stress eat, at least not for a few months.
My goal is to lose 10 pounds...sounds like a lot but I tend to lose a lot the first couple of weeks, so it should be doable. Keeping with a high goal will also help me stay motivated to get outside and exercise!

Hi

I would love to join the challenge

I am starting out at 173.8 and as I am going home for a visit for a week I have to be realistic about my goal for this month. So I am going to say 3 and hope for 4

After a less-than-stellar weekend, my weight this morning was 85.35kgs. So, my goal for June is to get down to 84kgs -- a loss of 1.35 kgs (3 lbs).

Thanks for putting this together Joy. I barely missed last month's goal so I'm going to try harder this month! Once I get into the 140s I seem to only be able to lose around 2 lbs a month... but I'm going to push it, so my goal is 3.4 lbs

SW (May 31) 147.4
GW: 144

Yay! Yesterday was my cheat day and I'm up only .5 lb today! And again, until I get back home and can use my own scale, I'll be putting my weight in parentheses.

SW: (203)
GW: 6 lbs down
CW: (203)

Delphi, lol! I'm doing a modified version of the Slow Carb Diet, and I'm just lucky that it works really well for me. Here's a link to the thread where I post my meals, etc.: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/othe...hread-3-a.html. The first post on this thread explains my plan. I stupidly got away from 3FC for a year and came back and picked up posting on page 6 of the thread and I've posted everyday ever since. If there are any secrets, that's where you'll find them!
BerryBB, way to get going again!
Leah, I hear ya! Me too!
Hepzibah, Good idea to get that exercise going!
Noggs, love the determination! Time to beat those weekends!
Ambience: No-no, no eating out of boredom at work! You can do this!
Noname, smart goal! You can do it!
Boating, great job!
GordonGirl, welcome back! You'll get those 20 lbs back off!
Verywell, I wish some extra willpower for you while you're home visiting!
Joy, yep, those weekends can be a bugger!
CatRN78, Great idea taking your crockpot! Good for you!
Turtle, you did great last month! Good luck this month!
