Noggs, glad to see you checking back in! All that going on, and you still show a loss! You're doing things right!
Leah, 3 lbs in a week is awesome! Continue to keep an eye of that big pic!
Joy, I like the name better too. I used to be a big race fan, but of Nascar. I didn't know about the Indy 500 Carb Day, which I'm thinking is a tad more exciting than my Carb Day!
Delphi, to your new resolve! Good for you!
Somehow I did not gain after Carb Day (which is a minor miracle because I ate a lot)! Hopefully, I can get below 204.5 this week! We'll see!
kelijpa ~ Sure hope you have an excellent day as well.
Jacqui_D ~ Gotta love those "minor miracles" as they really do help..eh? In any case, sure hope you get below 204 as you want. I'll be rooting for ya.
berryblondeboys ~ on meeting GOAL. I think its great you are setting another one as well. Keep up the amazing work.
hepzibah and magistra17 ~ on the drop.
Noggs ~ I think its great to be able to check-in via my cellphone. Hope you get the password worked out so you can check-in when you want.
LovelyLeah ~ I'm with you on the collection of data. The more information I have the better I feel.

Good morning folks! The day is off to a great start. I did get my 45 minutes of cardio in this morning and feel better for it. I'm still up a little on the scale but TOM showed up yesterday so, thats awesome. I sure hope you guys have an excellent day.
Good Morning Everyone Hope everyone had a great weekend!
I'm doing the happy dance this morning I'm down 5.6lbs. I'm almost at my goal for the month. I did bump up the exercise this week, cut out coffee and drank more of my detox water. I'm so excited. Will check in later. Have a Happy Monday!
I got a discouraging scale number when I'm pretty sure I did just fine yesterday. But I'm feeling bloated and stiff, so I'll call it water weight and move on.
I was going to say I don't know what's going on with my body and dropping so much weight so fast, but then I got my period today... I ALWAYS lose the majority of my weight post ovulation... but since I don't even know if I ovulate regularly any more AND I missed last month's period (I'm 45), I didn't know what was going on. NOW I know.
What's even WEIRDER - I dropped another 1.2 pounds overnight. THIS weight I think was water weight that my muscles were holding from over exertion/stiff muscles from the weekend.
So, I'm .2 from meeting my "new" goal.
HOWEVER, if my pattern follows, the majority of the rest of the month "IF" I will ovulate, I should see little to no weight loss and then a gain at the end of the month as I hit ovulation. LET'S SEE!
Anyway, it's been very good for my mood and motivation to have such a great start to this weight loss reboot.
Back from a weekend of camping and boating. I didn't drink a drop of alcohol - and I love to sit and drink beer with my friends. We went to dinner last night and i did have a couple...but all in all was a very good girl.
Wow, way to go everyone...especially those that have made goal or are very close. I have the day off and we are going to the movies. I am going to try very hard to stay away from the popcorn...one of my biggest vices.

Hi everyone! I didn't get the chance to check in over the weekend, as it was pretty busy. I don't have time to do personals for everyone, but I have enjoyed reading all the posts from over the weekend I went out to eat last night and had a very high sodium dinner, so while I didn't lose I'm glad it was only a very small gain.
My goal for this month was to lose 10 pounds, which I'm now realizing was a bit unrealistic to ask of my body. I did do that a year ago, but I was restricting my food intake more than I think I should have. This time I'm losing it much slower, but I'm hoping that the slower weight loss will be more sustainable, as I'm not rushing into extreme lifestyle changes that I can't sustain for long periods of time. So, with all of that, I think I'm going to change my goal for the month to 5 pounds. I am right on track to meet that, and I think that, for my physical and mental well being, that goal is much healthier for me.

You wouldn't think that a drop as little as .2 pounds would make me feel happy, but I got really excited about it this morning. I thought for sure I would have water weight gain today. Last night I ate a bunch of Trader Joe's peanut butter chocolate pretzels. I tried not to overdo it, but I was still terrified to weigh myself this morning. whew!
Magistra, yay on the loss and the happiness it brought you!
Gordongirl, I think it's a smart move to change your goal to a number you realize is more realistic based on the healthy way you are eating now!
Turtle, I have the feeling you're going to make goal no matter how much the numbers teeter-totter back and forth before that final day! You've done it many times before and you can do it again!
Boating, your diligence paid off! I like seeing the 6 in your number again!
BerryBB, wow! You are on fire!
Leah, another new low! Onederland, here you come!
Joy, it happens to all of us! Great attitude! Just keep on keeping on!
Lovemylife, that is phenomenal! Congrats! On to goal!
Delphi, I'll get that 204, just not today, lol! Good job on the exercise! Sorry for TOM but a whoosh should follow! :
