Stuck at exactly the same weight, 158.4, as I was two days ago last time I weighed in.
I will be mixing it up today, though I am not sure how just yet. I think my body is getting complacent with what I have been doing, so today I will shake up my diet (I usually eat the same things each UpDay) and add in some exercise I don't usually do. Busy day today, driving carpool, classes in the morning, grocery shopping, and ladies' Bible study in the evening. |

RideRunRepeat, hang in there! I went through a similar thing a few weeks ago where I was gaining weight every day. My ankles and hands were puffy, but I was still drinking a ton of water, exercising and eating well. It's never easy to see a gain, but it's even worse when you have no idea what's causing it.
Just keep doing everything right and it will go away - maybe with a few extra :) |

183 - it's a plan. I need to up my running and book an event to work towards. May sounds perfect for me so will have a look next week. Did a 7mile today, felt exhausted afterwards! Turtle - hang in there!! Sending will power and whoosh fairy over for a visit - due to arrive any day now! Had a good day today plotting out all my 2014 diet, weight and exercise goals. Took photos, measurements, etc. Bit late in Jan bit I'm getting there. Been a weird start to the year for me ! I just got back from the grocery store. I got some really good food to help me wrap this month up and hopefully hit goal. I got cottage cheese to eat with sugar free jello, whole wheat pita pockets to make little pizzas with, apples and celery to go with peanut butter, salmon, stuff for broccoli salad, stuff to make a quiche with lots of spinach, greek yogurt and frozen berries to make smoothies, and a case of water.
I have not done so good on the exercise thread that's going on but I am going to get in as much treadmill time as I can for the rest of the month. I am getting super excited about being in the 100's so very soon. I have decided that on the day I hit onederland I am going to get a 1 hour long neck, back, and shoulder massage at the spa. I have been there once before a few years ago and it was amazing. Goal is 202, this morning was 204.4..... I think I can....I think I can.....I think I can.....WOOT WOOT!!!!!!!! onerland is right around the corner. Stopping to pick up Rsadler126 then never seeing the 200s again. |

Unfortunately, they make my body retain water really bad, so I don't have a lot of hope for tomorrow's weigh-in (apart from the fact that I didn't bring my digital scale and will be using my parents' oldskool one). Anyways, my momma is making me one of my most favorite Swabian dishes (Linsen mit Spätzle) and I saved enough calories for a nice serving of chocolate ice-cream, so I'll stick to plan! kelijpa thanks! -10°C or F? susan1975 I'm sure you'll reach onederland soon! I got a running mag for Christmas (those are expensive, hey!) that had all the German marathons (and big European ones) listed, and I chose one in a city I used to live (and know people that can be my fanclub ;)), so I'm really excited about it. My goal is to lose 4.9 and get to 155 Jan 1 - 159.9 Jan 2 - 162.0 - here we go, really starting with weekly WI tomorrow, so ok with this for now... Jan 3 - 163.4 weekly WI, hopefully this will be my high for the year Jan 4 - 162.9 headed in the right direction Jan 5 - 162.9 Jan 6 - 159.4 yay for the whoosh, nice to get rid if that water! Jan 7 - 159.0 TOM showed up...bleh Jan 8 - 159.1 Jan 9 - 159.7 wine...d'oh, should be down for WI tomorrow Jan 10 - 159.1 weekly WI (-4.3 got that bump up off!) shr1nk1ngme - good idea with mixing it up and just remember sometimes a stall is just when the body is readjusting and re-distributing fat and what-not. Keep up the good work!!
