Well, my little whoosh was nice but here I am two days later and my weight is up .2 to 157.2. I think the mid/upper 150's is a set point for me and the new normal will be a loss of 1 pound every 4 days. This will put me off my goal date but I guess I can live with it as long as the weight keeps going down. I knew my weight loss would slow down eventually.
On a positive note, my blood sugar is coming down even more and my blood ketones are slowly inching up. Ketones were 1.0 this morning and blood glucose was 79 (right in the zone I am trying for ~ 75-80). I am happy with my decision to add more dietary fat, take out some protein, and add some light weight training. It will make it certain that any weight I lose from here on out is fat. -- Even if my weight loss slows to one pound a week. I expect to be seeing blood ketone numbers around 1.8 - 2.0 by sometime next week, and glucose in the mid/upper 70's will be just fine. |

I'm not going to beat myself up over it but I knew I need to be honest with you guys...didn't weigh my food today and one bite led to another and I just had way too much of a good thing. Didn't break with any sugar or anything off plan...just had too much sweet potato/almonds and hamburger. Way high calorie day today. :( I'm gonna be way up tomorrow but I WILL weigh myself and I WILL keep going. Sorry you all :( I'll be up tomorrow bright and early working out at the gym and I'll get right on track again. Considering this I doubt it's possible to make goal this month but at least I'm not where I was last weekend (bad place/binging) January 27 - January 28 - January 29 - January 30 - January 31 - February 1 - Rhiko - Eeeek!!!
