Okay, I have to come up with a different plan. Something is not working, and I am not sure what it is. I have stayed within my Weight Watchers points, and I have worked out 5 of the last 7 days. The only thing I can think is that maybe I'm starting to build back up some muscle.

kelijpa - You have blown past me! Way to go! 155 is amazing!

Darius - 40 pounds! I just think about a 10 pound sack of potatoes, X4. That's how much weight you are no longer carrying around. Fantastic!

RideRunRepeat - Send me some of your willpower vibes! It's the weekend again, and I need desperately to stay on plan.

Woodstock - Keep up the good work! Nice drop! Yep, the workout was great, and I actually had fun doing it, sweat and all!


pnkrckpixikat - Wow, you have lost over 8 lbs this month!

Turtle11 - Glad you are hanging in there and those couple of pounds came off. Way to go!

Shr1nk - I need to mix things up, too, but not sure what to do. I varied my workouts this week, and I took last night off to give my body a break. Shoot me some ideas if you got some. I need help!

boatingmommy the flu, yeah I actually got my flu shot this year, I never do but with a newborn we all did. So theoretically no flu... we had H1N1 before they ever vaccinated that first year, the hospital didn't even want to see us.... and ty btw

jacqui d Good to know about the decaf...I don't drink it because I like caffeine and it takes a lot of caffeine to affect me at all...so, no reason not to have caffeine just in case it helps me out...antioxidants are nice, yep...I should get green tea, still trying to warm up to teas though...I have many kinds, mint, cinnamon bun, orange, vanilla.... I'm still not sold on hot teas.

I'm thinking my up on the scale today might be because TOM is coming at any time.... and hopefully I'm right because it will drop if so....if not maybe it's sodium...I'm still not getting enough protein for this diet....where do people get chia seeds? Anybody know? I'm def going to get some tuna next month, tons of protein!!!

I think you're right: see my NSV's below.

UpDays are days I eat all my calories, DownDays I am almost fasting.

The past few days I did a bunch of different exercise and ate foods I don't usually eat. Nothing particularly bad, just different: different veggies than usual, a low-carb muffin, more eggs and no MorningStar burgers, etc.

It worked! I had a whoosh and now my weight is 157.0.

NSV's: I can feel my body getting stronger; little things like reaching for something on a high shelf, sitting up in bed, etc. are starting to feel easier. Also my legs are feeling firmer to the touch. AND I finally squeezed into my largest pair of skinny jeans. Have to wear them with Spanx, but still, I was able to get them over my thighs, so that's something, right? w00t!

Weekend started early last night with dinner out. The dinner wasn't the problem (salmon and salad), it was the beer. A couple more events are lined up now for the weekend. My compensating control is that there is no "bad" food left at home. When there is and I've been out for dinner and drinks I can rarely not succumb to the temptation if it is there.

NightAngel26 Haha - yes, i've been working off treats this week from being away which was basically a couple of days of eating out and red wine. And then was out with friends last night for food and beer. And more planned tonight after my workout... The weekend has forever been my biggest enemy in this weight loss endeavour! By the way, I can get chia seeds at the grocery store (massive store that has a "health" food section, close to the gluten free section), or at the city market in the boot that sells bulk rice/seeds/beans...

boatingmommy you probably are building up muscle. I've been trying something different in my workouts by doing High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) on the treadmill. If you are looking for something differnet, google "HIIT", it seems to be a great alternative for shorter workouts while maximizing calorie burn.

Boating ahhh I WISH I lost 8lbs this month, my 249 weigh in on the first was way inflated from having a huge carb and alcohol filled dinner on NYE. My NYE weight was 244.6 so I am 3.1 lbs down if we go on yesterdays weigh in. I am not disappointed in that number but 8 would be SOOO much better! :D I 'm not sure your bouncing means you are doing anything wrong, could be you hit a stall because your body is readjusting to where it is now.

Down by 1.6lbs this week! Saw a little jump on Tuesday morning which shocked me into drinking more water as I'd been slacking on that a little and it worked!

Now down to 153.2!!

Update on kitty cat-problem fixed itself. YAY! We trimmed this thing coming out of his eye and it just was gone completely this morning! It must have fallen out! I'm so relieved!

My weight seems to have settled after a horrific flu. I'm back to making good decisions and eating nutritionally to make sure I don't wind up in bed sick again!
