The 4,000cals are a guesstimation, because really, I don't even remember what all I drank/ate. Yeah, once in a while. I am glad class starts in 10 days, it will bring a little more routine and seriousness into my life. I went to run first Thing in the morning though :) First time after I had my wisdom teeth pulled, but I'm glad it went well. It is freezing cold in Germany though! It even snowed some places. We kinda skipped fall, I guess. You guys are really awesome at writing personal Messages :) let me try and catch up. Campana great you're so Close to your Goal already! Keep going, and you'll exceed your own expectations! (which is an awesome thing, IMO ;)) Woodstock I wouldn't sweat a 0.1 gain. Could just be an error on your scale. I always find it super hard when I'm eating out though, because you never know how many calories the food has. The MFP values are more guesstimations -- I don't rely on it too much. I hope the dumplings were yummy though! Jacqui_D it's prett awesome you have those weight-loss stats! This is my first month tracking Progress daily, and I already find it super interesting to evaluate it. I have always been apprehensive about daily weights because of the "little" variances, which are not always little at all :devil: Funny how I can practically starve myself and the next day show good sized weight gain, :?: and like you and others have mentioned many times, having a "cheat" or slight binge day, expect a big gain the next day but instead are greeted with a good sized loss :o Makes us wonder. I started doing the daily weigh in's on Sum's daily weigh in challenge just for the heck of it and having fun with it. ;) My starting weight for this month was 248, and I hit that again day after the following weeks weigh in of 246, hitting 248 again the very next day. :dizzy: I have hit a high during these 11 days of 256, which is up 2 lbs from my start weight of 248, and this morning my weigh in on the daily weigh in was a startling low of 240. :o This evening it is up to 246 again, but I expected that as I always weigh about 6 lbs heavier later in the day. I have three days to go for the weigh in on this challenge.......... Wonder if it will go down further or go back up?? :?: LOL any guesses?? B F R PS ALL of you are doing great :D And thanks again for that double method Jacqui, I am going to try to use some form of it myself, hope I don't complicate it too much for me to understand it :cool: |
Down .8 pounds this week. Not much but Ill take it. I now am at 233.9. This last few months I have been noticing a trend. One week I will have a minimal loss/gain and then the next week I will have a huge whoosh. Has anyone seen this before. Im sure I am not the only one that this has happened to. I also now am no longer morbidly obese. I am just obese;)

I'm on antibiotics due to a UTI so needless to say I haven't been feeling well. I made it down to 143.2 lbs a couple of days ago but that didn't stick.
I'm gonna try my hardest to eat healthily tomorrow and maybe even work out. We're about halfway through the month so I definitely got time to make it to 140 lbs and then focus on getting into the 130s. I'm probably at 145 lbs right now. CONGRATS to everyone who is doing so well! |

Well, I'm back up to 65.1 and the scales are still teasing me with 64.7. I swear it almost settled on the lower number, but then jumped back up in the last second before my official weight flashed on the screen. What a pain lol The reason it went up is because I had a b'day party to attend over the weekend and we played a murder mystery game. Our food was to die for :lol: Anyway, after the main course I was super full and then I had a bit too much dessert. Too busy working my characters blackmailing ways to take the time to measure my food. And yes, my character was the victim! It was fun though! I'll probably go out running today and get rid of some of that weight, but I do believe my TOM tummy/weight is coming :yikes: |

I imagine tomorrow they may jump up again, since this weekend is our (Canadian) Thanksgiving and today I went to my parents’ house for dinner and ate turkey. No doubt I will pay dearly for that. I visited the doctor on Friday, and they measured me... soooo didn't want that, because I somehow knew I wasn't 5'6 anymore. And I must have shrunk. I am in between 5'5 and 5'5.5 now. (I'm going with 5'5.5) But now my mini goals are wrong, and normal BMI is 152 instead of 154. Oh well, I guess its only two lbs, and I wasn't getting there until November anyway.
So I've been REALLY bad a personals this month. Shame on me Tuscany - I'm sure you'll get a whoosh soon. It must be water weight from the turkey and you'll be back to your consistant .5 lb loss per hour :) Jacqui - You're doing so amazing. Only two lbs left for the month. If I get stuck again I'm going to try the low carb thing, you have such great success on it. Woodstock - congrats on seeing that 149, I know it'll be back around soon. I definately retain water after I start a new workout routine. Southern - I seem to only lose in whooshes and maintain the rest of the time. I don't know if it is hormones... but I really only lose for about 6-8 days a month. Those days are great, but it can get discouraging the other 22 days of the month. Congrats on meeting GOAL!!! Minneey - I made some apple crumble too the other day. It's so yummy and SOO fall, its hard not to make fun apple and pumpkin dishes this time of the year. Good morning, all! Argh, these past few weeks have really been a struggle for me. We are in the process of moving and I've let calorie counting slide big time because I'm focused and distracted on other things.
I'm not drinking enough water (I was sick for a week, still came to work, and pounded coffee and pop for days to stay awake), and I'm not exercising a lot. I'm not going to weigh myself until October 31st because I'm sure I've done some damage. I am going to go for a run tonight, paint some bedrooms tomorrow, and focus more on my eating and calories. I hope everyone is doing GREAT! |

Yesterday’s turkey dinner resulted in another ½ lb gain, so I’m now all the way back to where I started at the beginning of October, even though my only cheat was yesterday’s turkey dinner. Hopefully, the back half of the month will be better than the front half.
