And, Lene, there is a petition to eliminate TOM. It was signed by a bunch of old ladies and it's called menopause. Been there, done that...you're not going to like the weight gain that comes with it. Not to worry, even though I complain about the scale, I'm only joking around. I'm very happy with my progress to date. I've been on vacation for a while (taking a lot of accumulated vacation time), so I've been bumming around in track pants/etc. I had to go in to the office for meetings last Friday, and when I went to try on my business clothes for the first time in over a month, I was down to a size 10...yippee!
I'm doing another little dance this morning, since the scales blessed me with a 1 lb loss.

Well I guess I am going to make my goal but I don't advise anyone to do it the way I am. I was in the hospital from July 18 to 23rd with acute pancreatitis. Nothing but ice chips for 4 days then liquid diet for 2.
I have two times of the month that make me bloat, and get overly irritated: ovulating and aunt flow. They both seem to screw up my weight loss. But I'm still early in the journey for health, so maybe it'll stop after I get further down the road...
