amandie -- Thanks

And yay for workout buddies! I am trying to convince the hubby to do p90x with me just for that reason. So much easier to wimp out if you don't have someone watching you
Seize the day -- yeah, I hate switching scales! Well, I always like it when the new scale is lighter, ha ha. But you're right -- it isn't the actual pounds that matter, it is how you feel. Especially at your size when muscle gain actually means something and can stall your loss a ton!
vdh2102 -- I'll send her your way! Congrats on being ahead of goal! And you can totally resist the cake. Or, if you choose, make room for it, lol. It was my daughter's birthday last week, so I allowed myself a few bites. Not too much a splurge to feel guilty, but I still got some
zoesmom -- CONGRATS!!! That is awesome!
Leaves -- congrats too! I know 20 pounds MUST show at your size. It is probably your mind not allowing you to see the change. and I completely understand.....
because today I also reached goal! Under 210 officially (so I think I am changing my goal to 199). I still don't see a difference at all when I look in the mirror either though. I know I've lost inches, and I can fit into smaller clothes, but I can't tell a difference AT ALL. Even though I've only lost 40 pounds this round, I've actually lost 100 pounds overall.
I used to weigh 310 in 2009. I lost 100 pounds, got to 210, and then fell off the wagon and gained back to 270. Reaching 210 has been a huge goal of mine, but now that I am finally here again -- not seeing a difference is really hard! I think part of the problem is I had another baby inbetween the last time I was 210 and now...and things are not as firm as they used to be, lol. Last time I was 210 I didn't have much of a belly pooch...but this time it is definitely there!
At any rate, we ARE losing. And even if it is slow, or we don't see a difference. It is happening, and is better than going the opposite direction! Those 20 pounds you've lost have to had come from somewhere afterall, even if you can't see it. And so did my 40, lol.
