I feel like I'm hurtling towards my goal and that I might have to change my target! woo. I looked in the mirror this morning and felt like I could actually see a change as well! yay :D

hopefully today I can get my last ever undergrad paper finished and go for a run! What are everyone else's plans for today?

I am just starting this goal today, it's just over 7 WEEKS until JULY 4th. Doing the math of 2 pounds a week times 7 weeks, I will make my goal 14 pounds.

Starting for this goal=253.6
July 4th goal=240

I would so LOVE to see that number again, it's been a WHILE! LOL

Now Delphi - what kind of friend would I be if I said "yes"? :lol: Truth is, could I? Yeah. Would I? Nope. I don't have licensing rights to do SW cakes, so where as I COULD do one for personal use, it would be illegal for me to make one for sell. I have made six SW cakes in the past, but all were for personal use as we have a Star Wars party every couple of months. The coolest one I made I stole from a concept I found of CoolestCakes where it was a working volcano from Mustafar. THAT CAKE ROCKED! And probably the only time I had a cake collapse (my fault, I was being lazy and didn't want to use supports since it wasn't going to leave my house). BUT! The collapse was AWESOME because it made the lava look insanely real! Never thought a collapse would work until the Mustafar cake :lol: And the kids loved it as the volcano was actually a "working" volcano with a resevoir with water and dry ice. Got lots of photos and video of that one. (Technically, it is also illegal for me to make one for personal use AND photograph, but they are a lot more lax on that, thankfully.) I am actually insanely lucky that I don't like cake, because life would be hades if I did, considering the fact I make money off these babies and ALWAYS have something close at hand. But, if you want to fnd a way to be turned off by sugar, hang around it for 24-72 hours straight. It will get to the point that the smell alone will disgust you and make you sick, much less the taste. :lol: AND! Have fun with the BF today! ;)

As kidlets put it, there's just something about being up to your elbows in frosting that kicks all the desire for cake out the window. And man, does it ever!

amandie - your "binge" could have been a lot worse. I mean, my last binge, which thankfully was a few months ago, involved an ENTIRE order of Texas Cheese Fries! :eek: I mean, that was my calorie allowance FOR THE DAY...and it was NOT the only thing I ate that day! Count your blessing you had reserve...I am VERY proud of you! :hug:

Well...good news...my weight up came down this morning, so must be retaining water from my pulled muscle in my back. Feeling better today, but still going to take it easy for another day or two. No need to reinjure. No need to landslide another flair up when I am still having shortness of breath. Just...a....few...more....days... Although, I am craving a workout like mad. Who'd thought I'd WANT to work out :lol:

Jessicado- Totally understand your feelings on wanting to murder your scale! I was stuck at 166 for a whole month and I'm sure it didn't help that I was stressing over it. I am glad you seem to be positive about this despite no movement. That is awesome in itself! :)

Leaves- That has to be a great feeling!! :crossed: on completing your paper so you can go for a run! Enjoy it if you're able to. Not doing much today other than errands, cook dinner and dart league.

Zoesmom- Texas cheese fries, mmmm! Yea, I keep telling myself that it could have been worse. I guess I was just disappointed that I let my emotions get the best of me, ya know? I am feeling much better today so yay! Whoo-hoo on dropping weight! I understand wanting to work out and am glad that you're being mindful as not to injure yourself again! :) Your volcano/Mustafar cake sounds awesome. You're talented for sure!

Still maintaining status quo (164.4) this am so I am feeling better about last night's food/drink blah. I am going to get a workout in today before I leave to do my errands. BF gets to come back today from visiting his mom over the weekend, yay. That's pretty much it for me, lol.

Oh yea, last week I picked up a pint of oikos' stonyfield organic frozen greek yogurt with honey in it (from the dollar store?!) W-o-w, veryveryvery sickly sweet! I am not used to having honey in my frozen treats so to "offset" the sweetness and flavor of honey, I mixed about 1 oz crushed pecans in it- so much better! Just thought I'd share.

If it's not too late, I'll join! My weight is 127.6 and I'd like to lose 4 lbs by then (123.6). Hopefully this will motivate me to get out of my slump!

Hopefully this challenge will kick my butt into gear. A semester of not having access to a proper kitchen has taken it's toll on me unfortunately! I'll add in my information on the spreadsheet. :)

Yeah!!! I will join also. My goal by the 4th of July is to weigh 10 lbs lighter and have worked out 3 days a week!!
