I'd love somewhere to track my fitness rather than weight loss. The scale may not always cooperate, but you choose how much you do in terms of fitness not the scale. This I have complete control over. My goal is going to be 120 miles any way I get them. That would average to 5 days/wk with 6 mi per workout.
Goal: 120 miles
9/3: 5 mi (2 on treadmill, 3 on bike)
9/4: 8 mi (2 on treadmill, 6 on bike)
Total: 13 mi
Left: 107 mi

Sally_Pineapple: I liked your record your movement goal -- it's a great way to start or re-start. It's a whole lot easier to set a reasonable goal for a month if you know what you did the month before.
Welcome, ImGoinDown and gatorgirl6!

Hi everyone! My goal is to workout 5 days a week. I just did my first day yesterday and it felt good! I have a lot of baby weight to lose and I'm easing my way into it. Mile 1 in Walk Away the Pounds, week 1 day 1.
I got in a work out, and then that work out killed me. Almost literally. I think I have torn (or maybe just pulled), something in my back. There is now this constant sharp pain smack dab in the middle of my back. It even hurts with deep breaths. Sad day for me.
Ouch! Orr I hope you feel better. Did you take something for the pain?
Congrats to everyone that got their works out in! I did as well. I did Day 2 for the week of Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile. My legs/hips felt it. I had been on bed rest for a few weeks before having my baby and then had crazy swelling afterwards so this is the most exercise I've done in almost 2 months. That's why I'm going nice and slow!
StNessa. I haven't taken anything, but I am thinking of getting some muscle relaxers and stretching it out as much as possible. I did work all night, and I was ok - but I basically had a hot pack strapped to my back.
But today, regardless, I went for a walk. Nothing major, but walking doesn't hurt at all. So its better than nothing! Hopefully a day of stretching today, will fix it!
But it was a pain I've never felt, and I barely did a thing!
