I woke up with no motivation to do anything today but today is the day I clean house so I need to get going. You'd think the little piles of fur all over from April's shedding would get me going but no. I think I'll change 'cleaning' day to earlier in the week when I have more energy?
Yep looks like it's just us two right now. Good idea to change your cleaning day to earlier in the week. Hopefully, you got going yesterday.
I did good until I went to dinner at Red Lobster with a friend. I chose grilled shrimp but I did have 4 coconut shrimp & biscuits. Today I am being extremly good and am not going to eat much sodium. I will also be getting in a long workout today. I have my official WW weigh in on Tuesday evning and I want to be down from last week.
Here is my plan for the day.
B: Greek yogurt, green tea & water
L/D: Grilled shrimp, brocolli, rice pilaf, 1 WW mini bar
S: orange, 1/8 C almonds, 1WW snack bar
Lots of water
Exercise: Punch w/weighted gloves
I love coconut shrimp but due to Hubby's allergy I don't get it often! We bought some peaches which were pretty good for the first of the season! I love peach season! Canned and frozen can't compare to the real thing.
On my exercise forum things have quieted down also. I guess its just that time of year.
We are going to an early dinner with my parents then to visit Hubby's family for Father's Day.
Penguin I hope you enjoyed your visits with your family today.
I stayed OP today! It was so hard but I did it and I got my workout in. I am deternined to keep on fighting until I get to my goal. I am not going to let food control me. I will control what goes in my mouth!!!!
So today I've done 7 loads of laundry {one more to go}, knitted 3 hats {almost done with third} and walked 3 miles with Leslie from her 5DWP DVD; Red, Yellow and Purple. I think purple is my favorite mile due to the music.
Me Again! My parents gave us some more purple cone flowers so we went out tonight after the sun had set on that side of the house to plant them, then I got involved in dividing iris {slightly too early but they've bloomed and aren't doing well anyway}. Hubby was a big help! He helped me by digging some holes and killing the two SNAKES! Bear in mind we live deep in the suburbs, our house has been here for 50 years, and they were in the front bed, right near the steps in a 4x4' patch of ground! Eeeekkk! These are not the first snakes we've seen but its always a surprise! Needless to say we cut that gardening short! Mom asked for some of the iris so I've got most of mine planted but her's are in a box for her to pick up Thursday.
WOW Penguin - I hope I never see a snake while working in my yard. I'm sure they're out there but I just never want to see one. Have you tried that snake-away stuff from Home Depot?
Hello everyone! I am very happy to be OP. I found out on Monday that I lost 5 lbs last week during my weigh in!!! I am so happy! Now 50 more pounds to go!
GGee - Congrats on your 5 pound loss last week. That is an awesome loss for the week. Keep on doing what you're doing and you'll have those 50 off before you know it.
I'm planning on an OP day. I brought all my food in with me and I don't plan on eating anything else.
I hope you all have a great OP Wednesday
