I'm a little late to the party, but I will join if I may. Today is day 1 on plan for June. Friday and Saturday were not great. I really need to get back on track, so, here's to an on plan week of eating!

Good morning everyone - Happy Monday!

guacamole & Melody! I hope you both have an awesome month.

Tavvy - Great job!!

Guacamole - I'm with 'ya on having a great week! My weekend was super busy and I wasn't perfectly OP but I didn't go too overboard. Today starts being 100% OP and tracking my points.

I knew this weekend would not be easy for me as I had a picnic in the park on Saturday and I had a graduation party to attend yesterday. I didn't go totally overboard but I didn't workout nor did I get enough water in nor did I track my points. This week is going to be an easier one for me.

I hope everyone has a great OP day.

OK it's 3:15 and I have been POP so far but I am struggling right now because I'm hungry! I am determined to finish the day 100%! I didn't bring in any fruit and I sure could use a piece now. I do have some light microwave popcorn in my desk so I may have a small bag.

I hope everyone else is having a good day!

I finally started Couch to 5K tonight in addition to my morning dose of Jillian Michaels. I'm tired and I am terribly sore (headed for an epsom salt bath and some arnica tablets soon) but I am SOOOOOOOO proud.

Sorry I have been so out of the loop so far this month...crazy times in the Viljoen household...June is going to be a busy month but I will try to respond to as many personals as I can! I'm cheering for us all to see some great losses this month!

So far it is a totally OP month for me! I have tracked everyday, just haven't been posting for the sake of time!

Good morning ladies,

Guacamole - Great job staying OP and working out!

Tavvy - Thanks for the encouragement yesterday. I did it!!! I stayed OP for the entire day. I had the urge to munch last night but I brushed my teeth right after dinner and refused to eat anything else. I woke up this morning feeling so much better after having a full OP day! Great job to you for starting your Couch to 5K and doing your JM workout. You are rockin it girl. You are going to be ready for your cruise!

I have to get my exercise back on track too. Last month I got so caught up in working in the yard that I let it slip. The good news is that I've only gained a couple pounds of water weight and I'm sure that will be gone in a day or two.

I'm ready for another OP day!

We did a lot of running around yesterday, but I don't feel that we got a lot done. I decided I wanted a new purse, a messenger bag style, but I can't find one I like so I may end up sewing one. And I want a new tote bag for knitting so I bought a pattern for that too. I love the Vera Bradley style with the colorful floral prints but can't afford one, or find one exactly like I want. I did find some new gardening shoes, at Joanns craft store of all places. They are pink and like Crocs but with flowers.

I'm doing laundry today. Still working on the sewing room but I'm made a lot of progress, I had some bags of yarn in a credenza in the dining room but moved those out in favor of an ice cream machine and the food processor, which makes more sense. But now I need to find a place for the yarn. Plus if I decide to make the bag or the purse I have to have room on my tables, so I need to clear those. Dumping it on the floor isn't an option however.

Guac, good to have you back!

Melody, welcome, glad to have you join us.

Tavvy, good job on all the exercise!

Went for a 3 1/2 mile bike ride with hubby this morning! We really got a good workout, and it felt so good to do a healthy activity together - we so rarely do that. I took him to my favorite bike path and he loved it. So far I am on plan today. I am thinking about switching up with coconut milk in my morning coffee rather than the skim milk I currently use. I might have to look over the ingredients at the store the next time I go and compare the two.

tavvy - great job on the workouts and staying OP!

GettinFit - Thanks! Good for you for brushing your teeth and calling it a night. I hate those "hungry days" when all you think about is food - especially off plan foods! Your food journal looks great!

patchworkpenguin - It is so nice to see you on this thread! I feel like we are old friends from the 40-somethings group!

I'm in my first week, going to Pokeno tonight. I will eat before I go, my goal is to not have any snacks when I'm there. How do you get that slider with the weight loss to show on your posts? thanks!
