Good morning ladies,
CONGRATULATIONS Tavvy on your pregnancy. Drop in when you can to let us know how you're doing.
Gee - How's it going for you?
Penguin - you can check them out at popchips.com. My favorite is BBQ. You can find them at Target and Kroger. They're on sale right not at Kroger for 2/$4.00. They are so good!

Yesterday was fairly uneventful. I went to a knitting meeting in the morning then lunch with my parents. I was supposed to exercise but took a nap instead. Bad Penguin!
Today I get to clean house.

I did 55min of kettlebells today. It felt good to push myself, since this is the hardest workout I've done in a while.
I finished the house cleaning, too.

Ugh, I'm sore today. Somewhere between "I can't move' and "I can move, but I don't want to because it will hurt!"
I'm trying to finish getting a bag together for Goodwill, and I need to do some more work in my sewing room. I'm going to try to keep busy so I don't get stiff from not moving. And some cardio.

By rearranging yarn, I emptied out two drawers in a small plastic dresser I have in my sewing room! So now I'm wandering around trying to find something to put in there . I have a lot of scraps and half used skeins that I'm trying to make hats to donate to our church's Streets Ministry this winter.
Hubby and I had a mostly lazy day. He did get some yard work and stained some trim for around the floors.

Good morning Penguin,
Sorry I didn't check in over the weekend. It was a crazy one for me. I am on track today though. I had 2 dinners to go to over the weekend. I tried to make the best choices but I gave in to some cake. I am back on track today and have decided that starting tomorrow, I am going to start a mini boot camp for myself. I have 5 months before my cruise and I really really want to fit a size 12 then. I will start a Firm rotation that I've had success with in the past.
I hope everyone else is doing okay.

We had errand running day today. Not very fun but stuff that needed to be done, and the heat sucked the fun out of everything anyway. I did find a beautiful dark green pashmina type scarf at Hobby Lobby of all places. A 40% off coupon made it $9 including tax!
Gettin, glad to have you back. Here's to a great week.

Hi Penguin,
Your scarf sounds nice. Green is my favorite color.
From today on, I am in "boot camp". For months I've been working on this big reception at work and it happened last night so now I can get back to focusing on my working out. I know today is going to be a challenge because I am eliminating sugar and white flour products. I am ready to turn up the heat on this weight loss again By Dec 31, I WILL be in the 180s!!!
Here's my Journal
B: Cottage cheese double (3pts) coffee (3pts)
L: Healthy Choice (7pts)
S: Apple, Greek yogurt (3pts)
D: Reduced sodium ham on Rye w/baby greens (7pts) coffee (1pt)
Exercise Firm (starting rotation)

Morning Gettin.
I need to 'boot camp' with you. I'm trying to come up with a new rotation with kettlebells and kickboxing. I've been doing the same things for so long I'm bored, and I need to clean up my eating. A woman on my exercise forum posted a weekly rotation that I liked and may copy with a few tweaks.
I'm also thinking I may need some sort of gimmick to keep me interested or on track. Such as a daily list of things I need to do and check off. We did this in the Beck system, but its the Beck list, maybe I would do better with the Penguin list, LOL.

Mandy - back!!! We've missed you and are glad to have you back. It's been sooo quite around here lately.
Penguin - C'mon and join me in "boot camp". Today has been soooo hard but I have stuck to my plan. I know once I get past the first few days, it will be easier. We can do it!

I did 45min of kettlebells. I started with 10lbs then moved up to 15. I might have gone higher but my next size up is 25lbs. Snicker, I might have to go shopping! I added on 25min of stretching because I don't want to be sore for the next few day.
Mandy, good to hear from you. How the prep for the move going?
Gettin, I'm doing good so far!
