Hey, everyone! I thought I'd get our next challenge thread for Thanksgiving up today, just so we can set our goals and recruit more people. I think everyone was okay with the title "Gobbling Some Pounds Off Thanksgiving Challenge", so look for that one. Of course, we'll still be finishing the week out on this thread, but if you'd like to post on each every day or so, please do.

My legs are shot from running/Sprints I did yesterday. Oh well I'm going to go to the gym and kill it! GRRR I hate being stuck at one weight for a long time. Stupid TOM. Okay time for the GYM!

You know whats funny, I just looked back at the start of this, and realized that I weighed 171/172 when this started.. And now I'm at 165. Thats not bad. I always focus on my stalls, and lack of weight loss. But I never look at what I have already accomplished. But damn. 165 sounds better than 171. :)

I need to stop stalling and get to the gym!

Hey guys! I'm doing ok, but am still fluctuating like crazy. Haven't reached my Halloween goal, but hope to be a little closer by the 31st. I weigh again tomorrow, so I'll let you know, and will of course check-in then on the Thanksgiving board.

Great job, Lindsy! It's so easy to forget how far we've come.

Just have to add: OMG, I am SORE today! Did a boxing workout on my Wii last night, and am feeling it today. Woo!

Surprisingly, I'm down another half pound this morning...and with Auntie Flo due for her visit any minute. Color me confused...but extremely happy!

Lindsy, do you think that maybe you can be overtraining with your workouts? I know you can be super tough on yourself. But, hey, way to do on your Halloween Challenge weight loss thus far. It really is amazing when we look back at how far we've come. Way to go!!!

Tab, I'm keep my fingers crosses for you that you see 140 on that scale tomorrow.

Some of you may remember that last month I posted some progress pictures of my monthly weight losses. Today I took another to add to the collection. I'm down 8 more pounds since my last picture. :carrot:

Since I started 3 months ago, I’ve lost a total of 26.5 pounds, 21.25″ and 4% body fat!

The first picture was takes 7/25, the second 8/25, the third 9/25 and the last was taken today.

WOOWOO! Great job sandy!! You look amazing! I love how in each picture your smile gets BIGGER AND BIGGER as you get smaller and smaller! :D:D you are so cute! lol

I might be going to hard at the gym, but idk. It's no harder than I have. It seems kinda easy actually. A 1 mile jog doesnt wind me like it used to. I know when I went to the park ran and then did sprints I almost died. I felt like I was gonna toss my cookies. So I prolly over did it then but at the gym I have been going at the same level that I usually am.

MAYBE my body has gotten used to it. I might need to change it up...Hmmm..

It's official, my scale hates me. 165.5. 2 more days with Auntie Flo. Hopefully things change like they usually do when she is gone. Today I'm gonna set a mini goal for me to drink 120oz of water. Maybe I'm holding in a bunch of water. Heck if I know.

Tab, I lovvvve kickboxing! It's so fun and you can burn so many calories. At my gym the instructor for the class is an actual kick boxer. She does muy tai and stuff. Shes pretty hardcore, and is great shape. Such an inspiration when she is yellin at the class! haha

Thanks Lindsy. Yeah, probably in my goal weight picture I'll have a smile as big as The Joker from Batman. LOL

I think you hit the nail on the head: Change up what you normally do in the gym and confuse your body. Doing that, drinking more water and kicking Auntie Flo out your door should have you a few pounds lighter in no time.

You sound so much like my mom; she isn't satisfied unless she does a couple hours a day, six days a week at the gym. I am so opposite of that. If I can get away with doing a 30-minute workout, I will do it. Problem is, it's hard for me to get motivated to even do that little amount. I am the queen of excuses. But I can't do that anymore.

I know for a fact I would have had a much better inch loss from the last 4 weeks had I done all my workouts. And I don't want to reach goal and be skinny yet flabby. I want to be as firm as I can possibly be for my age. I can already see my arms, although an inch smaller, are getting mushy. They even have cellulite on them that I don't have to pinch to see (YUCK!!!). I need to concentrate of firming them and my abdominal area up more. No more excuses...even if I have to stop 10 times during my workouts...I WILL get in 5 workouts a week!

Tomorrow mornin before my 12 hour shift, I'm going to go to they gym and mix it up! Try new things, see how my body handles it!

If I don't do a few hours a day of workin out I feel like its a waste. Thats my go big or go home thinkin I guess. :)

Go for it Sandy! Get in all the workouts you can cram into your week!!

Hi Lindsy! I love kick boxing too! I am still sore from Monday's workout, and really had to push through last night's workout.

I did weigh in this morning, but am up to 143.1. Doh. I've been on plan though, so either this is water weight/natural fluctuations, or I need to change my plan. One great thing about all these fluctuations is that they give me an extra kick in the pants to work out even harder, and not skip or shorten workouts. I'm going to give this plan until the end of the week, and down water the whole time. If I don't get a whoosh, I'm dropping down to 1350 cals/day until I reach goal. I WILL get there!!

Sandy YOU ARE SUPER! Way to go! I love the pics great way for you to see your progress. Sorry I have been AWOL lately. My weight and workouts are down the toilet. Everyday is a new day. I got my workout in late today ladies because I was busy coloring my poodle's hair pink for Halloween so that she could be cotton candy.

I didn't get to the gym today. When my alarm at 4am went off I trew my phone across the room. I went back to sleep. :(
Got on the scale this morning, up a pound. HOW THE HECK IS THIS HAPPENING? Yesterday I ate only 924 calories, and drank a ton of water. WTF. I'm so frustrated!!
Even with me and the scale fighting, I'v been having TERRIBLE migraines and back pains. I think I will go to the doctor soon to get it checked out.
Today at work, the managers thought it would be nice to bring the store Pizza from Costco. It rolled past me and the smell was enough to make me fall inlove. mmmm

On my lunch I went to the break room, boxes of pizza everywhere. But I resisted! I had carrots, celery, and bread with Peanut butter. A cashier told me that the pizza was for everyone I looked at it and said, Nah, I dont need it. :)

A few months ago I would have had 3-4 pieces. But I chose the best path today. One piece has 700 calories! YIKES!

Tomorrow: Work in the morning, then gym. Ugh. I'm so tired. 12 hours on your feet (in stupid flats) kill!!!

SANDY! I wanna kidnap your doggie!!!! Pink!!! :D So adorable!

Sandy, your puppy as cotton candy, adorbs! I love that idea.

Congrats to your husband, Hopeless! Stress can really kill your weight loss efforts, so hopefully you're journey will be easier now.

Lindsy, your epic battle with the scale is really comforting in a weird way, since I'm fighting the scale too. I've been seriously on plan but just jumping all over the place. Maybe it's a bad thing that I'm weighing daily now, but I like data (and if I do hit goal, I wanna know immediately). Check this out:

ps - The third line up is goal. It's like I'm allergic to it.
