Whoo hoo! Fellow challengers we are all doing great! I weighed today and lost 4lbs. So off to a good start just gotta keep on task! Great job Slammer. I am trying to get better with personals. Hopefully this will improve over time as I get to know you all better. From what I read though everyone is striving to meet their goals. We are in October now so that means we are closer and closer....What has helped me is remembering I have choices. I can choose this or that but there is a price to pay be it 2 hours on the TM or whatever. I s it worth it? I could just not eat the crap and then still do 2 hours on the TM and that would get me the better result I want. At least that is what I keep trying to tell my self. Proud of you all! Way to go!

TheLindsy 10-02-2011 02:13 PM

WOO WOO! GOOD JOB HOPELESS! Thats a great way to think about it. I do that every now and then. I'll look at Tacobell, and be like.. Nah thats 3 hours on the TM, Nooooo. lol Keep up the great work!!

I woke up this morning, 167. I'm lovin these numbers! I havnt seen 160's since middle school.. >.< I'm only 20, but Middle school was a while ago! Anyway yesterday I was WAY under calories. Only ate 456.. I know thats not good, but I just wasn't hungry at all! I had my omelet that I showed yall, and then coffee from starbucks for lunch, and then some fruit when I got home. I wasn't hungry at all! I'm going to strive to get more in today. Hopefully I can.

Sandy hurry up with those pictures! I wanna see!! :)

Okay, Lindsy, okay...here is how it came out. Believe me...it tasted way better than it looked. Everyone loved it! I would have preferred it be cut into squares, but my mom insisted I cut it into long pieces.

It's not the best picture because I have an old camera. I'm saving up for a new one.

Congratulations on getting back to 167, too, but I'm glad you realize that you can't live off of that few calories too long. My husband was eating 1000 calories a day for a while and losing 3-4 pounds a week. Now that he finally realizes that he should be eating closer for 1500 calories daily to reach his goal, his weight has plateaued for a couple of weeks. I told him that it was just his body adjusting and it would start losing again. But I'm really proud of you Lindsy for doing so well.

Hopeless, that is a great way to think about it. I would much rather cut back on calories than spend an hour or two exercising what would take me about 2 minutes to eat...any day! And congratulations on losing 4 pounds!!!

Weigh in day for me tomorrow, so let the nail biting begin! I actually started my period yesterday, so I hope that doesn't reflect on the scale. I'm feeling thinner, though, so we'll see.

sandcar150 10-03-2011 09:27 AM

Arrrgh!!! Only down a half pound. Yes, yes...I know that it's better down that up. But I have a goal that I want to reach by July 25th of next year and losing one to one-half pound each week is not going to get me there. So it's time to switch up my diet.

My husband and I like this soup diet we found in Woman's World magazine. It's only meant to be followed for a week or so and says you can take off 10 pounds in a week (yeah right!). But we'd be happy if it helped us get rid of 3-4 pounds in that time.

Okay, pity party is over. :)

TheLindsy 10-03-2011 01:05 PM

Mmmmm yummy! Sandy that looks sooo good! Feeed meeee!

Thank you Sandy! :) Yesterday I ate 1083 calories. Thats much better than 450. Eek. I know that starving myself isnt the way to do it. I have the day off, so that means hitting the gym, hard. Like, teeshirt, drenched in sweat! weeweeee! I love sweating like that.
I go to an all woman's gym, that way I don't have to worry about guys creeping on me and stuff. I think when I sweat that much, they all get grossed out.. I wipe the equipment off. But they arnt used to seeing a girl sweat that much I guess. hahaha

Sandy a loss is a loss! You never know, maybe one week you will drop 2 lbs! or 3! Its better than gaining. Trust me, I know about that way too much. lol

Good news, I'm 166.8 now! dropped9 another lb! Weeee. Thats nearly 20lbs since I started this in February!

Anyway, time to pay rent and go to the gym! Have a great day ladies!!!

HopelessinHarriman 10-03-2011 08:07 PM

WTG TheLindsy! I got up this morning and didn't work out BUT I did come home and do my running/walking and some weights. Food tracking is good today as well! Hope you all have a wonderful week!

sandcar150 10-03-2011 08:21 PM

Way to go, girls! I like seeing that everyone's on track and having the energy to get those workouts in.

I tried my Callanetics DVD today that I had buried in the back of my exercise DVD collection. I forgot how tough that one was. It was actually the Super Callanetics, but I left out the extra exercises until I'm strong enough to build up to them. I'm sure I'll be feeling it tomorrow.

And I went shopping for all the foods for my soup diet, which I'm starting tomorrow. I sure hope it can really help me get that scale moving.

TheLindsy 10-04-2011 01:27 AM

Good job for getting our workouts in!

Sandy like the people wearing leotards!? that is so much fun to watch! Iv never tried it though. lol

Ick I hate soup. Tell me how it works, but i know I wont be trying it! lol

I got to the gym today. Nearly died. There for 2 hours. Did a whole ton of cardio and a lot of core training. I want abs you can shred cheese on!

Tomorrow I plan on going super early and tearing my arms and legs up before work!
I met this guy who is a personal trainer, he gave me a link to his youtube videos, I tried one of them and I could only do one set and some of the reps were so sloppy. It was terrible haha.
He could be the new potential man. Weeee. Look at me, reeling in jacked hotties. I'm lovin losing weight! :)

sandcar150 10-04-2011 09:41 AM

Wooo hoooo, Lindsy! A new body and a new man. Go for it, girl! My youngest daughter cracked me up yesterday when we went grocery shopping. She has a crush on the new bag boy there. I told her that she should talk to him, but she said, "No, mom, he's out of my league. He's got to be like 19 or something." My daughter is 17. LOL I don't know why, but that cracked me up!

OMG! I am feeling that Callanetics. And I really took it easy with it because I knew some of those moves would have me screaming today. I hurt everywhere!!!

And you're right about those outfits, Lindsy. The guy in this Super Callanetics is wearing these blue shorts that are so short you can almost see his business in one of the exercises. LMAO!!!

Have a good one girls!

TheLindsy 10-04-2011 09:55 AM

Hahaha thats so funny Sandy! I was the same way!
Thats good that you are sore! That means it's working!! I should try it, I'v only seen clips of it. But I might try it!
LMFAO thats so funny! hahah White tube socks and SUPER short shorts! Thats what I look for inna man ;) hahah

Down .6 lbs this morning! 166.2 Weewee! Hit the gym this morning, didn't do much cardio, mostly arms and abs today. I'll go back after work and do cardio and legs! watch out sexy, here I come! :p

Slammer 10-04-2011 12:06 PM

Whoa! You ladies are just getting all up in weight loss's business! Congratulations on the losses and excellent determination I've seen from you ladies!
Lindsy- Congrats on your loss, your work outs and your "new potential man." You deserve a hottie ;D
Sandy-- LOL at your description of the callinetics guy! Made my day. Congratulations on your workout, though. Spandex-clad instructors or not, you seem to be doing a great job whipping your body into shape. Let us know how the soup diet goes!
HopelessinHarriman-- Excellent job on your loss! That's fantastic, and I'm so happy for you. Keep working hard!
As for me, I'm down a half lb this week, meaning that I've officially lost 40 so far! I'm feeling pretty good about that, and I'm so motivated to keep working hard.

sandcar150 10-04-2011 02:16 PM

Slammer, you and I are in the half-pound loss club this week. As much as I would have liked it to have been more, I am glad the scale is going in the right direction. I hope you are just as happy. That's a half pound less that our bodies have to lug around, right? Yay us!!! :carrot:

And Lindsy, you seem to be melting daily now. Those intense workouts seem to be doing the trick. I used to workout like that when I was younger, but my body just can't handle it nowadays. Maybe when I get down closer to goal I can slowly build up to it. I did like the results from it. But I'm so sore from the Callanetics right now that it hurts to even think about anything more difficult. http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/images/smiles/lol.gif

HopelessinHarriman 10-04-2011 08:28 PM

Thank you Slammer! I went running outside today. I downloaded a new app called RunKeeper and I ran 2.64 miles. Well let me clarify I ran at least 90% of it =). I when I say I ran it was more like a jog. Oh well still earned a pat on the back from myself. Hoping I can keep up the good vibes. Thank you all. Sandy- I wish I could do that exercise tape with you I would bring my leg warmers! Good job. Super job on the scale Linds! Woot woot! Moving in the right direction!

sandcar150 10-05-2011 06:08 PM

Great job, Hopeless! I used to jog when I was younger. It really kept my slim.

I didn't weigh myself this morning after starting the soup diet with my husband yesterday, but he decided to and was disappointed that he actually gained a pound. That got me nervous that I might have gained weight. I'd already eaten breakfast when he told me that he had gained weight, so I wasn't going to weigh in. But I will tomorrow even though I don't normally weigh in until Monday. I just want to be sure this diet isn't going to lead me in the wrong direction.

It's been raining here all day and I love it. Good weather for soup. I just hope we didn't make a bad decision in trying this diet.

TheLindsy 10-06-2011 12:07 AM

Good job Slammer on a loss! Hopefully next week it will be a bigger one! Wouldnt that be great!? :)

Hopeless- Great job on running! I can only run so much before my bad knee gets the best of me. I hurt it in softball years ago :(

Sandy- I hope that soup diet works! I wonder why he gained... Hmmm. It rained here yesterday. LOVE THE RAIN. Nice and cool in AZ :)

I worked 10 hours today, so I'm tired, but I still managed to go to the gym and get a good leg workout in. I got home and passed out. I only had 500 cal today. I need to eat. So I'm off to watch BL ( I watch it on Hulu since I'm never home when it's on) and eat some din din!
Good job ladies we are almost there!
