So frustrating! I was 166, then 167 and now I'm at 168. The heck is my body doing!? Grr. Out of frustration, I renewed my BodyBugg. 50 bucks. I'm such an impulsive shopper!

Hi Lindsy! I'm doing much better, thanks! I'm so sorry to hear about the crazy scale. Good luck staying on plan--I know I need extra courage when the scale goes up, so I'm sending good courageous vibes your way. Remember how far you've come. I'm sure those few pounds will come right off--they're probably just water retention.

My scale went up this week. 171. I let myself go. My husband got laid off work. His plant shut down. We are doing okay. I want to hit my goals so tomorrow is a new day. I do feel better at accepting myself and who I am. Proud of all the people for keeping going and being op!

Trying out Atkins again and so far so good! I haven't started my exercise routine yet but planning to start it within the next week or two, keeping my fingers crossed...put myself so out of shape the last few months. What plans are you on?

I just count calories, and go to the gym and sweat my butt off. haha I never tried one of the diet programs like Atkins, or south beach. idk if I would like it lol

Good morning everyone and welcome Minoja75!
Sorry I have been IMA all weekend. I had a long, exhausting past 2 days. My husband and I got up early both days and had a yard sale. The first day was great; we made $120. The next day $10. LOL I told him that we shouldn't have it on Sunday, but he insisted. But $130 for sitting outside and laughing it up with my sister, who also sold some stuff, made for a fun time. But, I didn't get in the Callanetics workout I was supposed to to this weekend, so that bummed me out. I am down another half pound for a total of 1.5 pounds this week. That is great, but it still only puts me at a 4.5-pound loss since I last posted my pictures on my blog. I've got 8 more days until I take my next pictures, and I need to see I bigger loss this next week in order to see a difference in those pictures from last months pics. My sister is going to start Callanetics with me this week and we plan on doing it 5 days a week in the morning. That may change, but that's the schedule we are starting with. Erin, I'm sorry to hear about your husband's plant closing down. I hope he can find another job very soon. Looks like you have your spirits up, though, and that is great. Minoja, I do a modified low-carb diet, but I'm always looking for other diets when my losses slow down. For me, though, low-carb is the way to go. Sandy- When I didnt see any posts from you I got worried! You are usually first to respond to all my crazy frequent posts! haha I'm glad you guys sold so much ! Iv never had a successful yard sale. My mom put me in a box, put ducktape straps, wrote YARD SALE with an arrow on it, and make me dance on the street corner. It was fun. And brought people in! hhahahahah I have a crazy family. Great job on your loss girl!!!
Im up to 168.4 :censored: I know I'm doing everything right! I was under calorie goal by 100 yesterday. No WAY I over ate. Sandy, I'm sorry to hear you had an exhausting few days. I'm sure you will make great progress in time for your next round of pictures. Good luck staying on track with your rigorous Callanetics plan. You'll be totally ripped in no time! I rooting for you!! I am down to 140.7 as of Saturday, which is a new low for me and very close to my Scare Some Pounds Off challenge goal of 140.5 and my ultimate goal of 140. I can't believe it. If the next few weeks are anything like my past losses, I may shoot back up a few pounds for a week or so, and then have a final woosh down to goal. I really hope so! Have a great week everyone! |
Thank you everyone for the welcomes! I totally agree with the evil flour and sugar...my body loves to blow up on those! Low carb is definitely the best for me as well and I love when I don't crave them after a couple days of limiting them, helps soooo much! Good luck everybody!

Hey Lindsy! Don't get too discouraged, the scale doesn't like me either! Weighed in today at 142.9, which is 0.3 more than I weighed at the beginning of this challenge, 142.6. Doh! It was probably a combo of extra hard weight lifting last night, and all the Doritos and beer I had during Sunday's football games. I am MADE out of sodium and msg right now. Trying to concentrate on drinking water, and relaxing, and knowing that if I stay on plan, I will get there. As I get closer to goal I find that I lose a big chunk in one day, like 2+ pounds, then a few days later I'm up 3, then a week or two later I'm down 3. Over time, I'm still headed down, but my weight graph has been looking ridiculous recently. Who knows, tomorrow I could wake up and lose the 3 pounds over night and be at goal (and of course the very next day I'll wake up and be up again. lol.)
Here's hoping our scales likes us better soon! |
