New Recruits -- Who all wants to track miles and/or weight loss progress on the Platoon spreadsheet? I'll add you today.
MadamB -- I still don't feel like eating or have any appetite, but I took the platoon's advice and went and bought things like roasted, shelled sunflower seeds that have like 200 cals in 1/4 cup, so I've not been having any trouble getting my calories into my range without eating junk. I also weighed myself this morning (my official weigh-in I had to do on Friday before going out of town) and have dropped an additional .6 lbs, so I really do feel good about my weight loss last week and believe that the additional weight will come off this week.
Josey -- I'm really bridging to 10k, I need something to do that's kind of like laid out for me. Want to give it another go?
Have a great day, everyone!

WOW Reso, just WOW! I am so impressed by your drive and achievement. I can barely grasp what I lost. Your loss is just mind boggling. I hope you stay with us even when you decide to start maintaining. You are such an inspiration!!
I totally agree on the "just one more time" thing too. That's how I got through C25k. My thing was I am not repeating that day, I only have to run it once. Which is kind of smart and stupid at the same time because it gets only harder and harder i.e. further and further to run. But somehow it works. Just one more time! And I got through it all like that! Amazing.
@K2 - Awesome! You are going to love it! It is such a great achievement.
@Chesh - Love the poster!
@envelope - Ooooh so looking forward to the pictures. That sounds like great fun. Batman forever! ;-) I loooove going through my closet now. Throwing stuff out because it is too big is so much more fun than hiding them in the corner because they are too tight. lol. WTG girl on the 4 bags! That is a ton of stuff. They will be happy to get the donation. Right now I have 3 office pants and 2 jeans that fit. All the other stuff I had to toss out. I start to really get upset with clothes that are too big. Somehow I feel huge when I wear them which is odd but that is how I feel. So out they go!
My BF though is very different (guys I guess!!). He is wearing so baggy clothes because he thinks they are still fine and he is not at goal yet. I just can't get him to go shopping!! Drives me nuts because his clothes look like they don't belong to him. His jeans are so big he is folding them over now and cinch them with a belt. Geeez! T-Shirts and Shirts are like tents. He is I think about two sizes off. Sigh. :-)
@Sarge - Ohh we are going to miss you!!! (love the Whiskey Tango Foxtrott in the pledge list. lol!! Oh and the Woot Woot too!! )
@Anon - I am in!! I did day 1 a while ago and will start day 2 right now! TTYL!
GREAT JOB everybody! Impressive results and team goal exceeded! What an awesome group!
OK, MY EYES ARE BLEEDING NOW ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!! . . . Time to set the scales aside, (unless it's weigh-in day.) Realize that TOM will come and GO. So quit obsessing over slight ups and down and just do the work, post your successes and failures. Challenge one another, find a "FUNNY" and post it . . . Ask for help if you need it, are truly stuck, need advice for running, shoes, exercises etc . . . BUT just keep going . . . PERSEVERANCE IS A WONDERFUL TOOL . . . YOU CAN DO IT!!!
Anon; Sorry still no appetite, but getting the calories with good nutritional foods is a WIN!!!
MindyMoo; You signed up now GET YOUR BUTT-ER MOVING PRIVATE!!!!

Skinny: Yes, we see you survived the attack of the locust teenagers . . . watch your 6 because you will soon be short one jet pack . . . DON'T THINK WE WON'T OR CAN'T DO IT . . . CAN'T is NOT in Gooey's vocabulary . . . LOLOLOLOL I see you caught a pic of me chasing that Jet Pack . . .
Josey; WooHoo on getting rid of clothes TOOOOOOO BIG!!! Always a HAPPY DAY!!

EDIT:
PacSun: YOU CAN DO IT. I was going to suggest you try for 2 pounds BUT you beat me to the punch . . . So this week, FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS . . . on food, exercise and WATER, SUCK THAT WATER IN LIKE A DEHYDRATED CAMEL GETTING READY FOR A LONG TREK ACROSS THE DESERT!!

@Anon - W1D2 is done! Yay! It wasn't overly tough. I almost inhaled my water once that wasn't such a great experience (do try it!) but other than that I feel great. I have the day off so I can run in the morning today. I would love to do that more often but I have to get up at 5am already and I don't think I am willing to get up even early to run in the morning.
I plan on doing D3 tomorrow night. Do you think that is ok without a full rest day? I also am going to do some weights tonight. Yay!
PS: TOM came early so I guess that was the reason for my excessive freezing a few days ago after all. I always thought TOM is "contagious" with roommates or women that hang out a lot together. Apparently it works in a virtual group too. Lots of TOM sufferers right now here.
When I first read your post, I thought your name was MinNyMoo. Naturally I thought you were an entertainer from the USO..... but now I have to ask: where is Mork????
If I only knew! Nanu nanu..
Not too happy to start the week where I left off last week: 154lbs. I was on track, too. Not going to fret! I'll be patient.
You guys are pretty awesome.
*Edit* I hope this wasn't considered a daily weight post! I just wanted to make sure my starting weight for the week was posted. Now, to work!

--With so many new recruits and a few PMs Sarge received, it's time the platoon is reminded of the rules stated in post 1 of every new thread!
--DON'T join if you're gonna bring excuses!
--DON'T join if you're a daily scale watcher or only looking for company to share details about your daily life, pets, cra*py job, TOM, AUNT FLO,and other pity-party themes.
--DON'T join if your head isn't in it yet. We'll be here to embrace you with well-toned arms when you're ready.
--DON'T join if you're overly sensitive to comments like "step away from the buffet!"
--DON'T join if you want to discuss anything other than get this freaking weight off of me! Sarge is type A personality. Excuses and reading touchy-feely stuff makes Sarge's eyes bleed! There are many other threads on 3FC that offer loads of "soft" support and make you feel it's ok to slack on your weight loss efforts. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THOSE THREADS!
Seriously guys, we now have 42 members...the platoon is incredibly successful and the thread moves quick. We burn through 500 posts in about a weeks time. If you feel compelled to weigh yourself daily, talk about the stressors in your life, or treat us to your every move throughout the day take those posts to the other threads you belong to or Sarge can open a companion thread, "POSTS THAT MAKE SARGE'S EYES BLEED!"
The reason we're successful here is because we're upbeat and surround ourselves with similar positive people.
I AM NOT KIDDING, ONE MORE POST ABOUT TOM OR A DAILY WEIGH-IN MEANS SARGE LAUNCHES THE NUCLEAR MISSILES!
Sarge, I pledged for 2 this week. (I think.. maybe it was one.. I can't remember so let's go with 2!)
I really want to do c25k tonight.. I have been running 1 mile every night. so I think c25K would be ok tonight. I do enjoy the running. It's nice to just breathe and listen to some music, watch some tv and zone out. Tonight is tds night too. I put JM on every other day. I think I might do the c25k every night, just repeat the week until the weekends, which are my relax days since I can't get to the treadmill on the weekends.
So, my sister set me up on a "running date" with a mutual friend while I was here but he injured himself last week. I'm thinking of doing this instead -
