pixikat-- Thank you! I agree; it's always great to have family at the house, and this time was particularly fun. I'm sorry you had a rough week, but I'm sure that you're retaining water... keep your water intake up and I'm sure you'll whoosh back down in no time.

jennsic-- to the challenge! I am a new runner, and I recommend the Couch to 5k program from Cool Running. Google it and you won't be sorry. It's free, effective and rewarding, and it worked for me. Also, take it slow in the beginning. You don't want to get injured and be unable to exercise at all!

Monthly Update... I've been updating my original post, but to bump it...

3/4 - 228
3/11 - 226 (Down 2, 31 to go!)
3/18 - 226 (Out of town all weekend, eating at restaurants... glad it wasn't worse!)
3/25 - 224 (I weigh less than it says on my driver's license!)

Joining late...
It's 14 weeks away (and 100 days!) so I'd like to be down 10 pounds.
I am at 175 now, that would put me at 165.
I'd also like to have gotten up into Handstand in yoga on a regular basis, and be working on balance in forearm stand with my feet away from the wall.

And I would like to have hiked at least 2 mountains.

Jen516, you now weigh less than it says on your drivers license...WAY TO GO!!
My drivers license says 230 and it's been there so long that I can't remember EVER weighting 230 (or less)...LOL! But, I'm working now to turn that big fat lie into the truth...LOL!

Yikes! Three days of eating like crap+sore muscles due to starting C25K=3.5 lb gain! I'm hoping it's mostly water weight and I'm right back on track today!

Sylv -- Thanks for the WTG! Yeah, I think I was 60lb over the 225 when I filled out the license app! But I had to up it when I realized that no one was going to believe that I still weighed 170, which is what it said prior to that!!! It was a surprise to me to realize that I had reached my DL weight. I got carded at a bar and said "wow, I actually weigh that!"
