Ugh. I'm currently on antibiotics that are making me eat like a horse for some reason and completely lethargic. Hopefully that will end soon...

Well, I forgot to weigh-in yesterday because my sister came into town and things were absolutely mad, but here's my weigh-in.
Congratulations on your losses this week, ladies, and hugs to Kaonoshi for your struggle with those meds. Hopefully, you'll be off of them soon. As is, it looks like you've lost 2 lbs this week, which is awesome :carrot:

Popping in to see how everyone is doing, looks like most of us are going strong :) as of today I am up 3.2 lbs from my weigh in on friday, i had a bad weekend and some frozen pizza yesterday so i am pounding the water and im going to stay on the low end of my calorie range the rest of the week and hopefully i wont see a gain on friday.

MadamButterfly- sometimes our bodies just like certain weights for a bit. it may be your body adjusting to what it has already lost and redistributing. are you measuring yourself? have you been losing inches even stuck in the 160s? mixing things up will sometimes get me unstuck. sometimes a couple days eating above calories then dropping back down will shock my system back into it, or mixing up the exercise routine. I definitely would recommend checking a bmr calculator to make sure your calorie needs to lose havent dropped below whatever you are eating now, I know it drops a little for every 5 or so pounds i lose and as you are smaller it may drop faster for you. either way good luck! i know you will show 160 who's the boss soon!

Kaonashi- that is no fun about the meds, maybe try to keep low cal things like carrot sticks around to munch on that way you can satiate the med induced hunger without sacrificing too many calories. plus more veggies are always better for you right? :) on the interesting note, if you are eating carrot sticks, then you really will be eating like a horse lol

Our Lady Bonbon- hope you had fun with your sister! its always fun when relatives visit i think.

Hey all just popped in to update my weight log. This week has been crazy. No weight loss for almost two weeks and then BAM five pounds gone over the course of four days. I haven't done anything differently this week except I've been sleeping better while my sister and the baby are out of town and I have been slacking on my exercise which leads me to believe I must have been retaining a lot of water. Was exciting while it lasted. lol.

How's everyone else doing?

Morning everyone - I'm new here so first i'd like to say nice to "meet" you all:D
I would love to join this challenge and i'm really looking forward to the support and encourgement i know i will receive from all of you.
My Mother-in-laws 60th suprise birthday is coming up in July (and it's a pool party....ugh) and i need to drop about 40ish pounds. Anyone have any running tips, i've always wanted to be a runner but not sure what proper form is???? Also, may be a silly questions but where in the heck are you all getting these cute weight loss tickers, how to i get them and add them?
Looking forward to this journey, i know we can all do it!!!! :grouphug:

so, the weekend was BAD with food. Not should have gained bad, but I drove my (now former) roommate to san antonio to fly home to pennsylvania, its about a two and a half hour drive and because her flight was at 7am we left at midnight the night before and fueled the trip with sugar, caffeine, and taco bell. then when we got to san antonio we waited the 2 hrs she had before she needed to check in in a dennys, so that was greasy salty diner food and a coffee hot chocolate hybrid to keep me awake. then the drive home was fueled by more caffeine.

I also returned to the gym this week after not going for a week and a half due to issues with my glute. and i had my session with my personal trainer on Wednesday instead of Sat and am still sore as crap all over.

so im hoping the fact I am 3.2lbs up this week is due to water weight :(

jennsic - welcome! the weight loss tickers can be found either here at 3fc or at various other sites and you paste the code into your signature. as a new member however you heed to be active for a certain amount of time and also have a certain amount of posts before you get a signature... i want to say it is 20 posts and 30 days but im not 100% certain on that

either way welcome! and im sure you will qualify for that signature in no time :)

Awesome job on your weight loss by the way. I at one time lost 90lbs doing Atkins but of course as soon as you eat carbs it comes back, haven't gained it all back though. This time i'm doing it the good old fashion way, eat healthy and excersise.

im joining this one. i remember when i started my diet i was thinking i would like to lose 10 to 20 pds and now im thinking why not 30 or 40 pds!! i think its possible to do. its funny how the weight is more than just pounds.

@pnkrckpixikat it's gotta be water weight there is no way you consumed nearly 10,000 extra calories. don't worry a couple days or a week on plan and that extra water weight should disappear. good job helping your friend just be more careful about which foods you choose next time. surprisingly taco bell has some a number of low calorie options and dennys isn't that bad if you just get their most basic platter. best of luck!
