I thought the best I could hope for this week was to stay the same and not gain, given my bloating problem. I was so happy when I actually showed a loss!
3/26 - 279.2 (first weigh in) 4/02 - 273.0 (-6.2) 4/09 - 270.8 (-2.2) 4/16 - 270.0 (-0.8) 4/23 - 267.4 (-2.6) 4/30 - 265.8 (-1.6) 5/07 - 5/14 - 5/21 - 5/28 - 6/04 - 6/11 - 6/18 - 6/25 - 7/02 - Running Total: 13.4 / 35 I've lost 13.4 pounds in five weeks, which averages out to 2.68 pounds per week. I have 21.6 pounds to lose to meet my goal for this challenge, and there are 9 weeks left. That means I have to average 2.4 pounds per week for the next 9 weeks. That might be pushing it a little, but I'm going to keep my goal at 35. No matter what, I'm a winner because I'll be that much closer to losing 35# by the 4th! |

Okay, so realistically, I am not going to lose 10 pounds this month. I'm a compulsive eater and 'weigher' and since reaching 142.5, the scale isn't budging. I think now that I'm a little bit closer to goal, losing weight is becoming harder for me. I'm also exclusively breastfeeding, so maybe my body is reserving some as I become less fat? I don't know. I do know that it is getting harder and harder. So although 20 pounds is ambitious, I think that 15 pounds is realistic.
Would like to lose 15 pounds by July 4. 4/15 - 145 4/22 - 142.5 4/29 - 142.5 5/6 - 142.5 5/13 - 5/20 - 5/27 - 6/3 - 6/10 - 6/17 - 6/24 - 7/1 - 130 So new goal, 5 pounds by Memorial Day. Hopefully 15 pounds by Independence Day. |

I am so happy! I am down another 1.4# and I made my 5% goal AND my 15# goal. Whoo hoo!!!

I'm still thinking that 20 pounds in eight weeks is a stretch, and I'm thinking I'm more likely to lose another 15 pounds in that time frame. Either way, I'm wicked happy with the direction I'm heading in! I just FEEL so much better - lighter physically and emotionally. I'm not hungry, I'm not deprived, I'm just living my life. WHOO HOO!!! |
it looks like everyone is doing great! I am doing pretty good with my goal to stay on plan and under 1400 for a month, i mis counted one day and went over by almost 200 cals :s but the next day i ate 1200 so i figure it balanced out in the long run.
not weighing is driving me nutso, i swear im on the countdown, 12 more days lol keep on keepin on folks :) |
My mom is barbecuing today, ribs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, etc. I want to eat it, but I'm not. I want to lose weight too bad. I'm in the zone. lol
