chickadee- people tend to assume others are like themselves, at the beginning of this journey I was like that because I worked in a call center. I tend to be as active as whatever job I am currently in requires me to be, over the years I have had jobs that require constant activity (child care, waitressing in busy resteraunts) moderate activity like im doing now and completely sedentary... i definately can match up most of the times i was gaining with times i was working sedentary jobs because i rarely made the effort to be less then sedentary while away from work. Our Lady Bonbon- yeah sounds like water retention for TOM perhaps added with water retention if youve been ramping up workouts at all, glad you made it back to 179, congrats on the c25k thats awesome! |

Oops! I thought I was supposed to weigh in today! My weight stayed exactly the same, and I'm very relieved! This hasn't been a great week for eating and I'm seconds away from TOM, so I feel ok. I'm lucky that my job and life keep me pretty active, so unless I really go overboard, I can usually maintain pretty well. But next week there WILL be a loss!

Start Weight (March 6): 250.0 lbs March 9: 249.6 lbs March 16: 248.0 lbs I was stubbornly stuck right around 250 for several days last week, and then stuck around 247.6-247.8 for several days this week before my weight went up slightly to 248.0 on March 16. It could have been a number of things - I'd not been getting enough sleep, I wasn't really getting up to the lower end of my calorie range most days, and I'd started C25K and my legs were probably trying to adjust to the change in routine - but I was getting really frustrated just the same, as I knew I was burning more calories than I was taking in. Yesterday I hit the middle of my calorie range though and drank about 100 oz. of water, and I'm down to 246.0 this morning. What a relief!! I was kind of hoping for an even bigger drop, lol, but I pledge to keep trying to keep my calories high enough over the next several days and hope that contributes to an even bigger loss by next weigh-in. |
