LouisaH-I ended up home with a sick kid today, so I'll go ahead and do the update so you can actually read and respond to people if you so desire. Thanks for everything!
Well into another OP day. It helps to have this day to plan and get stuff done around the house so I can be more successful the rest of the week.
dcapulet, ophelia, fauxtini - I am planning to start C25K this month as well. For some reason I thought my gym had an indoor track and so I was planning to do it there, but no track - so I guess it's going to need to be outside or on the treadmill. I'd prefer outside, but I kind of don't feel safe walking/running alone in the dark and evening is the only time of day I have available. I guess that means I'll need to start on the treadmill, where the svelte gym goers will be able to see all my jiggling and huffing .
So... my weight was down a little more yesterday morning, my normal weigh-in day... and the scale put me right at my first real milestone: 10% body weight lost! So watch out 20% - my sights are set on you next!
chickadee-Congrats on such a big milestone!!! Way to stick with it and now you know you can do it for the long haul.
oklahomachick-Good job on the 6 miles! I've gotten back to my walking dvd's. I'm doing them first thing in the morning now. It's new for me to have to get up to my own alarm..used to just get up when DH's alarm went off.
Today I'm up, hoping it's water weight after nearly killing myself on Tues and being in mega pain because of it Weds n Thurs. Rather than teh accidental gin binge on Wed night.
Have got a good workout in today, and plan to do the same tomorrow.
Also, done pretty well with food today, but did snack a little at work. Making up for my 'fails' this week by not having a treat weekend. I only get the treats if I keep on plan in the week. So, hoping an OP day tomorrow will see a shift by Sunday morning!
Well, I went back up 0.8 to 247.6 this morning. I didn't go over calories, and not too far over on sodium. If anything, I ate too few calories, which I suppose could be the culprit just as easily. Also, I worked out and was a couple glasses short on my water last night. Hopefully, the scale will show a loss again by tomorrow.
Back down to 246.0 this morning, so I'm guessing the bounce up was just a temporary fluctuation...whew!
Fauxtini, Dcapulet, and Chickadee - Yay, of course! I just now saw all the other C25k posts. Looks like Spring is a good time for everyone. I would love to join in together, because I know if I'm going to be trying running, I will need all the focus I can muster to keep at it, haha. I'm going to try getting a good pair of shoes some time this month for it...are any of you getting specific ones, and - if so - do you have any recommendations? I never knew there were so many types of walking/jogging/running shoes until I started some research on it. I'll have to see if I can find an actual store who can help determine my gait, I guess...? Have any of you had experience with this, or are you just going to wing it?
Yay, 3.3lb down this week, very happy! I had a 24 hour wobble midweek, but have done four days of hardcore workouts and stuck to my diet plan perfectly 4 days, almost perfectly 2 days and had one wobble day.
I'm another c25k runner. Did day one of week 4 last night, and am so looking forward to challenging myself with the long runs soon, if it works, it'll be a miracle!
SW89kg CW87.5kg GW84kg 1.5kg down, 3.5kg to go!

Hey all! It's back to the grind tomorrow...
I had a pretty successful weekend and I have my WW meeting tomorrow to weigh in and I anticipate about a 2 pound loss. This is incredible..being so OP for this many days is fantastic. I better hit the sack so I can get up for my date with Leslie Sansone tomorrow.
