Had too much sodium and went a little over on carbs yesterday, so I was expecting a bounce this morning...but, I weighed in at 244.8, which is actually a -0.2 loss. Not great, but better than the gain I was expecting. Makes me wonder if I may have had a mini whoosh had I not had all that sodium yesterday. Probably not, but it still makes me want to kick myself...lol.

Slimlizzie - Don't you love it when the scale starts to cooperate? Congrats on the nice loss!

Takingcontrol - Good luck! Looking forward to seeing what you get in two days' time.

Fauxtini - Sounds good to me! That's what I was planning on doing, starting on the 1st. Hoping that will make April a better month for losing than March is shaping up to be. Still need to make my 2 hr trek up to the city to get fitted for some new running shoes, but then I will be set. Starting to get excited! I really hope I can train my body to run without feeling like dying, haha. I've always been drawn to the idea of being a runner, but never thought I could do it. All these c25k stories have me pumped up too, though!

TheBunneh-I changed your goal. GREAT JOB on reaching your initial goal! Really you deserve RED, but I'm confident it will take you no time to hit 164, then we for sure will give you red even if you set another goal for the remainder of the month.

I have fluctuated a bit here. Last night the family and I went out to eat and I split a burger and fries with DH, so I got the taste I wanted but not the HUGE portion. So, I feel good about that, but I saw a small move up on the scale. Tomorrow I expect to see a more accurate read that I can report, though it's not official until Monday. I'm still down over 3 pounds even with the fluctuation which is encouraging. I'd love to reach goal by Monday just so I can actually set a new goal. I've NEVER had to do that! Being healthy ROCKS!!

NightAngel-Glad you checked in. Have a fantastic day and do something that makes you smile!

Finally some progress again! I added in a long walk with my regular exercise program and increased my water to over 100oz yesterday + got to sleep in a bit this morning; as a reward, I got a little overdue woosh...-1.8 down to 243.0 today! Which means I am now halfway through to my goal for the month. I wanted to be further along by now, but my body has been having some issues with stalling, so I will take it and do so happily, lol.

NightAngel - Glad to see you pop in, even if only for a moment! Hope everything is going well for you; keep in touch!

Ms P - It's a nice treat to be able to have a little something extra, and still know you're able to enjoy it responsibly in moderation...you're doing great!

Default Hey ladies....

Ms Perception, ophelia - thanks for recognizing me, sorry I haven't been as involved. I think weight loss has taken a back burner position to alleviating stress with food... I wish I could get my groove back but when I stress I eat so I don't blow up or fail because of stress.....

Ms Perception- hey looks like you're making good progress this month...congrats on the portion control, it can be hard.

ophelia- wow that's a lotta water....how's it helping ya? I've never had that much I think...like to see how much it helps. Good job losing all that weight too
!

Bunneh - congratulations on meeting your goal!!

ophelia - I'll definitely let you know how it goes with the shoe fitting (I wanted to go to a "true" running store too), and please let me know how it goes for you as well. I really like taking roadtrips like that on the weekends sometimes. And YAY on the whoosh!!!! I LOVE those.

slimlizzie - woohoo! Glad to hear about the loss!

takingcontrol - that is where I want to be with the running! Until recently I never thought I might even want to run someday, and now I'm anxious to start. Crazy, huh??

fauxtini - I was hoping to start C25K this month instead of April... but I have a really big, stressful event coming up right at the end of the month, and so may switch my plans to April 1 and do that along with you and any others. I'll definitely keep you updated, as it would be fun to start it with others here.

NightAngel - I know how much you'd like to see the weight loss, and I am sure that when you're able to get back into the groove you will. We all have times when something else in our lives has to take first priority for a while.

MsP - You did way better than I would have with that burger!!! And being down 3 lbs. already this month is amazing. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll see goal at Monday's weigh-in!

After 5 days I finally saw the drop I was expecting yesterday morning, which was a big relief, but this morning I was exactly the same as yesterday morning. Not my normal pattern (I'm usually a few ounces down on the scale each day), and so I'm sure it's TOM plus the fact that I've not been eating enough this week due to feeling so crummy. But I'm feeling much better tonight, and am really looking forward to a couple of good days and then a happy weigh-in on Wed morning.

Hey ladies. I haven't really checked in since the beginning. The first week of this month (and all of last month) I was pretty lazy. I finally got my routine back this week and added some weight training to it. I've been pretty sore but it's paying off. -4 at weight in today! I'm just 1.8 away from my next mini goal. I've been working on this one for a REALLY long time.

Hey Ladies
Congrats to everyone fantastic job on the losses!! woot woot
No loss in pounds for me I'm afraid However I did lose 3inches
I've been so busy with work this week I didn't really have the time or energy to workout. I did get back onto fit day to track my food & calories I am way down on calories so I need to start paying attention to food I'm hardly getting 1100 cals a day so that's probably where a lot of my engery lack is coming from.
Today is a new day Still down 2lbs this month and 3 1/4 inches so I'll take it with a smile and make a smarter effort for the rest of the month

Hi Chicklets, just a quick check-in and congrats to everyone who's having a successful month. This month is just too full of tempting and difficult events for me to really do anything but maintain, which I'm doing fine.

I'm having a hard time sticking with tracking my calories because it's so much work when I don't eat just really simple foods. Argh.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks bunneh and carved

louisa - is it possible to simplify your diet, or plan in advance a few days or a week?

Walked with my little girl scout in the St Paddy's parade today, so 2 miles in I need to strength my rock climbing muscles, so back to the gym next week!
