A great one! I am the overnight counselor at a residential treatment center for kids with emotional and behavioral issues. It involves a lot of paperwork and laundry but unless there is a crisis I have much of the night to do as I wish. I got the Wii a year ago to help me stay active at night but really, it wasn't till this challenge that I got it out every night. And now I'm bringing it home and working out during the news at night too.
We've found that the Wii is a great tool for our kids. All access to TV and video games is seriously limited in our program and is used mostly as rewards. But the active Wii games are different and have helped the kids calm themselves and be more aware of where their bodies are in space. My kids all think they are great snowboarders (even those who have never been on a snowboard) because they can do some cool move on the 1080 game on the playstation with the little controller. Then they get on the balance board and try to do the snowboard slalom. It's pretty amazing (and funny). And then when we actually take them out skiing for real they have a much better sense of how their bodies help control the skis attached to their feet. I'm a huge fan of the potential for the active Wii games to be used as therapeutic tools.
