Well this just sucks today is the end of our challenge and I am at 203, thats only a 1 lb loss for this challenge. I so wanted to be in the 100s at the end of this challenge. I need to kick my own butt and get that scale moving. This is my year. I dont want to be fat at the end of this one.

Burgundy - don't be discouraged - you've been doing so well! And you are super close to onederland - we can't wait to celebrate with you! Maybe we can push each other, you and I, now that the holidays are over and we're back in the swing of things!

Okay, all - I'm going back and catching up on what I missed - wow, what a group!

Neesy - I'm so excited for you about South Korea - that sounds like a huge adventure. I haven't had Korean food often but everything I've tried is super healthy and yummy.

takeadeepbreath - Hi! And welcome back! Your description of the ingredients required to jam a finger was just too funny And major wow on the 8lbs - you rock!

pushing daisies - belated welcome! glad you're joining us - this is a great group.

maddiesmom - oh honey, you have a lot to deal with. I really feel for you with the back issues and I so hope everything can be sorted out for you. How's maddie doing this week?

I know I'm still missing stuff but at least I feel a little more like I know what's going on

Hi all!

Well I only have a moment to check in...I'm so overwhelmed - yikes!!

Today was my rest day from the gym but I am desperate to go tomorrow. I need to work off all this stress (I am convinced that is why I am doing so well). Still no cheats, doing great. Cravings are minimal but I do need to drink a bit more water. Pants are loose, mind is clear except for the work stuff going through it.

I have spin class tomorrow and I love spinning all my aggression out. Tonight I am having some salmon for dinner

AJ - what the poop?

I read everyone's comments but just no time to comment myself and heart you all!!!

aj - we'll miss you! Major good luck on the no starches plan!

staccie - woooohoooo for too loose pants - that's the best!! That olympics uniform will be looking great

burgundy - yes, definitely let's send rewards to the winner. Not sure who's still posting from our original participants but we probably need to hear a before and after weigh in from staccie (is it 8lbs?), maddiesmom and neesy. All I know is that I'm not the winner since no change here!

Looking forward to having everyone back and posting all the time!

Thanks for doing that, burgundy!

It's supposed to be warmish here today so am planning on a run at lunch and a pedicure after work to get ready for my trip. Haven't had one in ages so I'm looking forward to some relaxing time.

Food so far today - 2 softboiled eggs. Planning on thai chicken with veggies and brown rice for lunch and rotisserie chicken and maybe sauteed zucchini for dinner.

What's everyone else up to today?

So I'm down 8 lbs for the challenge. I'm pretty happy with that. I think I wanted 10... so close enough. I ate pizza last night and olive garden yesterday for lunch.. already self sabotaging! haha. So.. off to the gym I go.. which is the first time in like 2 months?! I'm really hoping to be 165 by my b-day in march.. that would be great! When is our next challenge.. how long should we do it this time? The holidays were a really bad time for a challenge. Let's not to do that next year. haha
from tickers.. it looks like popcorngirl is our winner? YAY!

Hello lovely ladies...

AJ: Good luck on no starches...I don't have the willpower for that, so kudos to you!

Staccie: You are doing so wonderfully with your diet and exercise. I am so glad you are making time for yourself with your hectic schedule. With your busy life, you make me feel like a deadbeat! LOL

Kelly: To answer your question about my back: I have a herniated disc as well as degenerative disc disease in my lower back. The herniated disc is putting pressure on the nerves in my back and causing extreme pain. I can't even stand up straight most days. So, I'm having and epidural injection of anti-inflammatory medication put right into my spinal column. What sucks is that I'm getting it done Friday (my b-day).

Well, I am not sure what my weight is, forgot to do it on Sunday. I'll weigh in tomorrow I guess. I did make it to the gym and worked out with Hott trainer and then went again yesterday and worked with Hott trainer again. Tried to get a last minute personal training session before my injection. So, he's talking with his cousin who's a physical therapist to find out if there is a better workout for me after the injection. I'm telling ya...he's a great trainer.

Food hasn't been too bad. I had pizza on Friday night, but I've been so good, and we ordered a small pizza for us to share. Maddie ate a ton of mine, so I'm not feeling so guilty. I even put the hubby on a diet. He's doing great...lost 5 pounds in just the first week, and that's just with changing his eating habits.

Hope you are all doing well. Talk to you soon.

maddiesmom - that's great about your hubby! I remember mygrits seeing something similar with her husband. My boyfriend has started eating better (although he was always trim) and hitting the gym more. I love how this stuff is contagious. One of my girlfriends is getting ready to tackle the weightloss thing too so I'm looking forward to having a nearby buddy.

neesy - 8lbs is great - wow! With your incredible discipline, I bet you will definitely be at 165 by your bday - and what a great way to celebrate!!

Hi ladies.
I don't think I was in on that challenge, I don't recall but I am more than happy to contribute to the prize - popcorn gal!

I'm so taking the next one

Long day - had a good workout but was so tired.

Thanks for the positive comments...I'm pretty happy with how I am doing. Cravings are pretty minimal these days even under so much stress and that is good!

Still kicking around this cold though...it's turned into a nasty flu for a lot of people so I'm hoping I avoid that!

For the rest of the week...big surprise - WORK! This weekend....WORK! But I have my workouts to look forward to My secondee from London is coming on Monday so I will take her out a few times. I can't wait to get on venue. It will be 12-18 hour days for a month...my Olympic uniform is gonna be too big

Well I will check in later
