I would like to join this challenge; hope I am not too late. I am not sure I can lose 50 by Christmas, but I think 40 pounds is realistic for me. I have included my past weigh-ins (started 7/23)
Hi! I'm starting on August 9th and (sorry) am not going for 50 lbs. because that's unrealistic for me. I've been losing a little over a pound a week, and I'm good with that, so I am just going to set a mini-goal in red for each week to keep myself on track.

Fifty isnt realistic to me either but I'll aim for it to keep it challenging lol I dont weigh in that often I try to shoot for monthly so my weigh ins wont be as often as others.
I know that I signed up for this challenge, but I can't find my post anywhere!!

I'm not quite sure if 50 pounds is realistic for me, and I know very well I won't be able to put forth the hours so... I'm going to go for maybe a pound or two a week.

I noticed some of the other girls on here had a goal next to each weigh in date, which I thought was a really great idea, so I added it to my weigh in schedule. I figured to lose 50 pounds by Christmas, I need to lose 2.5 lbs a week.
Anyways, I only lost 2 pounds this week, which kinda bummed me out, but when I posted my current weight, I realized I was still ahead of my goal because of a larger weight loss last week, and then I felt better! I think the goal each week will help me keep the larger picture in mind, instead of just focusing on the loss for each week. Thanks for the motivation ladies!
Well, I have not lost one ounce this week, but I have not gained either. I have been on track with eating and exercise but have been a little depressed, so maybe that is affecting my weight loss. I started feeling much better yesterday, so next week will be great! If I say it, it will happen. Mini-goal in red for each week to keep myself on track, actual weight in green.
