I dropped 4 lbs between Mon and Tues and gained 3.4 between Tues and Wed.

What the &*^%@#*&( is going on with my body??? I'm not eating THAT much sodium. I know this isn't all "fat" weight ... but WTF????

Ah, I saw your name as the last poster and was sure you were going to post a loss! I guess you shouldn't trust me

I wish I knew what to tell you. Have you considered that maybe you need more calories? I think you do ~ 1500-1600? I know you've gain while being looser with your diet, but I think some of that was with not so healthy foods? Maybe if it was all healthy additional calories? A stab in the dark Maybe a couple of days or even a week of on plan eating but a break from any intense exercise?

PC - I wish I knew. Our bodies are so mysterious at times! I know you are pretty detailed with all your spreadsheets...are you keeping track of everything? You know it will drop off again. Crazy, Crazy, Crazy.

ARGH. Thanks for the suggestions Julie. I'm wracking my brain on this one.

I dunno. I've been eating super clean for a while (my trip to Albuquerque notwithstanding) and not a lot of junky stuff. Even in ABQ, I didn't eat *junk* I just ate a lot of rich foods.

I think part of it is just sloppiness on my part. I'm tired, I'm stressed beyond words lately, and I'm just not being careful. I just need to get my act together.

Maybe it's the stress itself doing this to you. You know, cortisol and all that.

Well, I guess I'll be happy to be at my starting weight since I weathered a big Christmas weekend and I'm FINALLY feeling better from being sick for a week and a half.

Well, I'm still above where I started (which I now suspect was just some freakish dip), but lower than yesterday. Still, down 2+ lbs overall from last week, so I cannot complain!

Barb, woohoo! Glad you finally got back to your SW. That inspires me for some reason....lol!

It seems like these 5lbs are the hardest! I can't give up. I can't give up. I can't give up.

JAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMY! Yay for you joining here! I'm a few days late on noticing with my stupid schedule. Cheryl and I are calorie counting BFF you know.

Blah! Blah! Blah! Too much miso soup and my period. Blah! Über great times with water retention. I love it, it's a freaking party.

Thanks PC - I'll certainly hang in there. I just love salty stuff, love it. I love it so much I forget the scale frustrations when I'm slogging it down. I'm ashamed to admit I gulped down a *bunch* of miso soup and tamari the other day without looking at the sodium content. I've been paying the price for that 7000 mg in a single day

Down another pound. I am starting to wonder if my scale is dying a slow death one pound at a time.
