Woosh so I was going to have beers at a friends house tonight but I think having a good week is going to help say yes to just one and no more - don't need the empty calories!

Don't be miserable! You've been doing so good! Going very, very clean is a great idea! You can do this!
i dont really know how though inm so CRAP at doing this, this is always what happens... i do great then i gradually let things slip slightly and weight loss slows and i give up. i dont want to give up!!

Don't you give up, and you DO know how. WRITE A PLAN. I'm telling you, writing down a whole day's menu -- or week's menu -- is INVALUABLE. Write down your plan, total up your calories so you know you're in limits, and just FOLLOW IT. No straying, no deviations, no substitutions. You may not have to do this the rest of your life, but right at the beginning when we ALL struggle with moment-by-moment choices, having a plan is SO GOOD!
Plateaux are the hardest things to get through. I had a two month plateau! (See March and April in my sig). You just have to keep on plugging away at it and try not to let it get you down. In the end I dropped 100 cals a day and that seemed to do the trick.
