    Jodi, I know how difficult quitting is. (well, actually I don't, but I feel for ya) Have confidence in yourself. If you can carry three children around for nine months each, you can quit smoking. (sorry... that probably didn't make sense, but I have a fever...)
    Anyhow, we're right behind you.

    Stacey, welcome! Licorice is such a bugger. It's fat free and rubbery, so you figure it has no calories...

    Spirit, how are you doing today?

    Icing... I used to make a bowl of it to eat.

    Well, honestly, I'm probably too "together" about it. It's just part of that obsessive, addictive behavior we all know and love. lol But, if obsessing about making my food journal look pretty helps, then I'm not gonna stop myself.



    Plus, this is how I keep track of it for myself...on my computer...so it's not like I'm formatting it perfectly just to post it here. I also send it to my two support people (two friends) for the encouragement. It helps me get through my days.



  • October 4 Wednesday

    Breakfast- 2 ww bread, egg,
    Snack - chocolate bar (I know I shouldn't have had it. I was out for the morning and starving and just grabbed it at the drug store. I should have had a better breakfast)
  • Jodi that cough sucks so bad, but man is it great when it is gone.
    Ellis - I am so glad to know I am not alone on the frosting thing.
    breakfast - slept through it
    lunch - asian orange beef meal 260 calories
  • b- mini ww bagel, pb, banana, skim, coffee
    s- grapes
    l- leftover chicken stuff, zucchini
    s-cottage cheese
    d- veggie burger, brown rice, green beans

    misc- 1 box of cinnamon tic tac's, no smokes, although today (day 5) was the hardest one yet, and while i was sitting at work i thought about chewing off my arm for most of the morning... hopefully that means it will get easier from here. i just got back from a really good 40minute walk, and i got my strength training in today too.

    oh ellis get well soon!! let's just say carrying the kids was a walk in the park. thanks for the kind words!!

    I had a decent day yesterday. I even made it through the America's Next Top Model watch party. Everyone else had pepperoni pizza and chocoalte chocolate chip cake, but I was strong. I ate my yummy salad and had one stick of Crazy Bread.

  • Had a terrible day today. Got some bad news about my son and dealt with it by eating chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. I am just disgusted with myself and lack of self control.

  • Here's my first post on this thread...

    After yesterday I decided to stop "planning" my days because I rarely stick to them and simply become anxious when "feeding" time approaches. I have decided to go with the flow, eat when hungry, and make healthy choices.

    B - None.

    L - Shrimp & Vegetable Stir Fry - 400
    Found in the frozen section. Made the whole bag. Ate half for lunch, half for dinner.

    D - Shrimp & Vegetable Stir Fry - 400

    S - Lots of fruit
    50 Grapes - 150
    Orange - 65
    Diced Peaches - 60

    Morning - 3 miles on treadmill (Alternating 4.0 at 8% incline and 4.2 at 0% incline)

    Evening - 2.5 miles on treadmill (3.5 at 9% and 10% incline)

    I usually don't work out twice a day but I was bored this evening.
  • Hi guys I'm back. I feel like a loser. I failed the days I posted on here earlier where I tried. But today I'm determined. I was going to start yesterday but my dad was so hungry he wanted to stop by McDonalds which was so close to us. I was hungry to but I was going to hold it in until we got home...but I did want something sweet too! So we ate at McDonalds. I could have chose healthy but that just went through my mind like nothing as I was so happy to be out of the house and with dad. So I chose chicken tenders (not bad) 3 w/ BBQ sauce, 2 apple pies for a dollar (bad), ducle de leche pie (very bad), small diet coke (good). Dad chose good for him but also chose that cinnabun and wanted me to have half so i was like yum yum and ate half.

    The rest of the day I ate healthy. Mom cooked rice with salmon stuffed with crab meat. I didn't eat much after that.

    TODAY'S A NEW DAY. I'M RESTARTED BECAUSE I'M SERIOUS!

    I hope everything goes well. 2 obstacles. 1) Group therapy today: Its cold in there and I tend to fall asleep in there and get hungry. 2) Night eating.
