Food Journal
Trigger Alert!
This thread may contain words that set some people off on a binge.
I don't know if anyone else is interested in doing this, but I'm at my wits end here. I just can't get it together with my eating lately. I'm exercising again, but I've gained a couple of pounds because I think I can "eat whatever I want if I'm exercising".
Anyhow, I'm going to TRY really hard to journal my food here, and if anyone wants to join in, you're most welcome.
If you do join, you won't be criticized for what you eat here. This is about honesty and self-assessment for me.

Oh, my gosh. What a day. This morning, my healthy breakfast fell on the floor, so I thought, "screw it", and ate an unhealthy breakfast. (4 white toasts with butter)
I just got home from seeing my doctor, and I made myself lunch (healthy) and poured myself a big glass of diet pop.
I've just knocked the diet pop all over the floor/keyboard/shoes/etc.
The only good thing is that the floor around my computer is now really really clean.
I'm supposed to go to a wake this afternoon, but I'm a little bit nervous about my next bit of bad luck, so I think I'll go and lie down.
Brave, you had a good day yesterday! I hope today is as good!!
Jodi, you MAKE your tabouli!? Wow, you are GOOD!
I buy mine from a Middle-eastern bakery.
Other than the bad floor day, I'm having a good food day. (well, apart from breakfast, and I forgive myself for that...)

ellis: There has to be something in the air...I am clumsy at the moment as well. And I mean REALLY CLUMSY. Like in falling down (ups, a step), twisting my ankle, bumping into furniture, spreading tea all over the kitchen, not closing the shaker properly this morning which leads to...- I guess you can imagine how the kitchen looked like. There should be more proteine in my life, but i would prefer it in a glass or on a plate, not on floor, walls, kitchen supplies....
I would join the thread but I am too lazy to translate all my food....

Come on!! The practice would be good for you!
Jodi, you've reminded me of why I don't bother making tabouli. My BIL made it once, and there was this HUGE bowl of it...
I buy a small tub containing about a cup. I'll bet yours is good, though! (will the bunnies eat it?)
Okay, so I saw my doctor yesterday because my blood pressure has been a bit highish. He doesn't want me to take any meds, but wants me to lose weight. Imagine! ME!? Lose weight!?!?
ahem. Yeah, so anyhow, I'm seeing him again in about three months, and I'm planning on killing myself to lose weight from here on in. No more frigging around playing diet games.
I'm going to the gym.
So far today:
- 2 whole wheat toast w/organic peanunt butter
- GREAT workout!
- strawberry yogurt
- 2 coffees w/skim milk
- water water water

Very funny, Jodi! heh heh
Hey, you're doing well! What did you lose today... probably about 16 pounds, eh?
Yeah, I'm eating. You know when you think you're eating well but you're not writing stuff down? And if you DID write it down, it would add up to, like, 20 000 calories?
I'd better start writing...

I haven't eaten yet, but this is what I plan (and if I stick to it, Ill let you know, lol):
breakfast:
(2) small baggies of oatmeal - 260 calories
1 smoothie (Danon lite n fite) - 70 calories
snack:
fruit (around 55-75 calories)
I'll tell you guys if I stuck to it
Good news: Last night!!!!!!! Didn't eat late or binge or anything late! Woohoo. I think it's my third night like this. I don't know how I do it. Just appetite is not up there. Just relax. Not sad or anxious. Eat very filling dinner around 6-7PM.
