Thumbs up Chicks in Control, July Exercise!

Okay, okay, so I'm a little late again!

If anyone would like to post their exercise, come on in!
I'm going to challenge myself to running at least three times a week. But I'm aiming for more.

In fact, there are a few people who should be joining me in here... tap tap tap...

I ran yesterday.
10 minute run, 2 min walk, 3 min run, 2 min walk, 3 min run.

Exercises...mmh...exercises...
Here is what Iīve done so far this month:
- running around in total panic (48h til exam!!)
- running around searching my little cat
- jumping up and down and screaming while watching scoccer (you know, Worldchampion- thing here in Germany at the moment)
- walking past the hometrainer a few times per day
- fighting with my binge beast (call me Muhammed Ali...)

Ok, I guess my exercise regime could need a bit...improvment. But I begin to be seriuosly commited (??) about it. Really.

Iīll write more when I am really exercising....

Hi, Donna! Are you getting your sit-ups in, girl? Come on... it'll take you five minutes out of your day... you can do it!

Kate, that sounds like plenty enough exercise for you at present. Hang in there, girl.

Scooter, how are you doing? Are you squeezing some exercise in?

I just ran. I am in agony. I could only run 10, walk 2, run 3, walk 6 today. My thighs are killin' me. I could barely make it up the basement stairs.
You know when you have those days when you just don't have it in you? Well, I'm hoping that's all this is.

Good morning!

Ok, my main exercise is still running around in panic, but I really made it do some REAL EXERCISES today!! Wow!!

Well, but unfortunately I noticed that our hometrainer (stationary bike) is broken...But I have a bandage for me knee, I hope that I can go walking again very soon.

So I did 15 Min cycling on an broken bike (was terrible hard), than 5 Min on the stepper (not good for my knee) and some Sit- ups etc for 10 Min.

And I am willing and prepared and everything to continue posting in that exercise thread! I am gonna make it this time!!

Guess what I finally did? I exercised!!!! Twice in the past 48 hours actually. I've been SO unmotivated when it's come to exercise the past 2 months have once again realized how necessary exercise is if I want to LOSE weight, not maintain at a weight I am not happy with. It doesn't matter how on plan I am with my eating, the weight still refuses to budge without exercise. I did two 30 minute run/walk sessions on the treadmill. And I'm going to try to get at least an hour a day of proper exercise in every day from now to goal. And then chop it down to 3 days a week when I'm at goal.

Wow ellis I don't know how much exercise you normally do but this sounds like lots to me. I can only dream of being able to do that much.

I really exercised.
I did one hour of walking and running this morning. I am so feed up with walking- I want to be a runner! But my knee hasnīt the same opinion. But i didnīt care today.

Exercising helps me to get rid of that dissapointed and angry feelings. Interestingly, for the first time in my life, I feel the urgent need to move.
I would love to be able to run around and kick something....Maybe i should give soccer a chance....But I am so bad when it comes to ball sports. But i would love to....

Anyway. I exercised today. Just wanted to say it.

Oh Kate I used to love to run but my knees have been injured from it. I still burst in to short jogs now and then but my knees cry in pain. I do find walking is almost as good and I get the same getting rid of the dissapointment and angry feelings. There is something about getting out side and moving that cheers me up and puts me in a positive mood.
