Hello, and happy Tuesday! It's a cold one where I am, and I'm in an office where the heat is pumped up to close to 80 degrees, I'm guessing. There's something wrong when you have to wear a summer top (I peeled off the cardigan that was covering it several hours ago) and there is snow on the ground outside! In 2005, yet! You'd think they could make a building comfortable!

Well, this morning I did a DVD from the Kick Butt series called Strong Bear. In my opinion, it is the best one in the series! 55 minutes strength training, with weights, Pilates, a tad bit of cardio and some "om"-less yoga.

I hope everybody has recovered from the holiday and is back in gear. Have a wonderful day!

Today I lifted weights for 15 minutes and then did the elliptical for 20. I also will have a 35 minute round trip walk to the salon and back later today.

Well, my end of the month for November is 993 minutes of exercise. Holy cow!

I had 810 minutes for September and 885 for October. So I am clearly doing well with the gym portion. The sad part is I was 158.5lbs on Oct 31st and I am 160 on November 30th.

My eating isn't doing quite so well. Hopefully I will make it through December maintaining or losing. It is tough for me with the food because I am not able to plan everything so closely.

December here I come!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello! Is this really the last day of November??? What happened to fall? And how long til spring??? lol

Melissa, you have the exercise habit going, and I really think that is the main part of it. You know what you have to do! Watch those portions, no snacking, etc. You are doing a lot of good for your body by exercising regularly, so don't undo all that hard work by scarfing down fatty foods! You know all this, so be pro-active and don't just hope you'll maintain. Make it happen -- you have that power! Congratulations on all that great exercise.

As for me, this morning I did one of my favorite cardio routines -- Gilad's Step Aerobics. 57 minutes of good fun on a Hawaiian beach!

Now it's onward -- to December and beyond!!
