Mcdonalds with my daughter and nephew today...had to let them sit away from me at the park while I read my magazine so I didn't have to smell it!

My roommate and I went for a walk and she bought some mega-sweet bubble tea ... I didn't buy anything! To satisfy my sweet tooth I came home and had a bowl of fresh fruit instead.

Going out for dinner last night! It would have been so easy to say yes, but I sucked it up and cooked and planned to go out tonight instead so its a decision i'm in more control of.

Default well...

so far I'm saying no to my mom's pasta salad I brought home yesterday. She doesn't eat leftovers so we get whatever comes around.

If no one's going to eat it at your house, I say toss it out NightAngel! It's not a crime to throw food away!

Yesterday, I said no to a fist-full of jelly beans, haha...I had a reasonable 4 instead.

I said no to a fast food sandwich today. It was just calling my name. I was hungry, and wanted to order it, but I decided that I would wait until after I ate my breakfast and my lunch, and then, if I was still hungry, I would consider it.

Of course, after eating breakfast and having coffee, I am not hungry.

I said no to dinner today - at a fancy restaurant and just had some fresh fruit juice. I was able to resist a risotto dish and a tomato mozarella salad...

I did NOT say no to food with flour in it. I ended up eating far more of it than probably was appropriate. I didn't feel my plate to overflowing, but I did eat more than I should have, and, since I was already hungry, I think the flour aspect just made it worse.

I did say No to sweets. I avoided them, and almost gave in, but realized that it was way harder to stop eating sugar than it was to stop eating flour.

I am worried that I may be backsliding. I realize that for my diet, and for my hunger levels, I cannot go back to eating certain foods as a regular part of my diet. I am worried that because the scale isn't moving, I may be trying to find an excuse to overeat.

I said no to the cinnamon rolls my supervisor brought in this morning. I didn't even have a single bite (because I know that'd be a trigger for me) and I feel great!!

Hmm...I didn't say no to takeaway Japanese food for dinner, which may not be too bad for my waistline but is definitely really bad for my finances!

However, I did go to the amaaaaazing bakery near my office at lunchtime today, and bought my workmate the cake he asked for without even considering buying myself something from there...made me feel powerful!
