Default From disaster to delight!

So, I was having trouble getting into "penny mouth mode", so I figured it was the "low carb" candy bar I'd been munching on for a couple days, but I was DYING for a real dessert....I decided to make the flan recipe in the back of the book---I didnt have almond extract so I used some of my d'vinci toffee syrup. The results were....er....questionable. It tasted pretty good, but it had that "sproingy, big pan of hard boiled eggs" texture that was weird.

As I was getting ready to call it a failure and dump it, I decided to put it in my smoothie maker with a little heavy cream...OMG! It made the best creamy, toffee pudding I've ever had! I tried a little this morning to make sure I hadnt been dillusional, but it was just as good!

Hmmmmmm, sounds great! I made Atkins recipe for Asian Beef salad (but left out the ginger and lightly stirfried some of the veggies instead of just cold) and it was great! Where did you get this recipe from again?
